Juvenile actions are meant to be confidential
by sasi kumar on Oct 26, 2007 11:45 AM  | Hide replies

This article states that the son in law having kidnapped a girl when he was a juvenile. It also says this came out when the media noise was created after their marriage. I would have expected juvenile offences to be confidential. This is an unfair publicity and I hope rediff would not break the law on these issues but take an informed stand.

I dont find any mistake with rediff saying that this man has involved with a kidnap case when juvenile. Its press's responsibility when a issue happens around a famous star happens since he is a public figure and annoyed of this marriage. Public has all rights to know the background of a person who involved in an unethical act. Find no reason for this reader to advice rediff has done some mistake in this news item

It's their family affair
by P Ravikumar on Oct 26, 2007 10:24 AM  | Hide replies

It's their family affair and no role of fans. We are fans of chiranjeevi as his role in film industry and not in his personal and family matters. We know very well that chiru is capable of handling the case. Chiru never asked any support from his fans in this circumstances.
My advise is to pray for safe of chiru and to stay away from his personal matters.

Mr. Chiranjeevi is a public figure and most favoured actor and every fan has their own views on what happens to him, this kind of viewpoints are normal and its not a matter which involves only a family matter

Great! All the creaters of these teenage love movies like Boys and other crahp should face this themselves in their families. You reap what you sow. Why these double dealing in what you preach in movies and what you do in real life. Film industry is full of such buffoons.

i think it leaves a bad taste in everybody's mouth when people derive a sadistic pleasure by criticizing a popular actor in ways unrelated to him.one must think of of own contributions to society before we lay the blame of our society on others. by sansu

Dear Hari,
I don't know what you know about Chiranjeevi but, would like to bring into your notice that, he never encouraged teenage love in any of his movies. Of course, in all his movies there is a love element too, but if you look at his past works, the love was matured and was between matured and intelligent female characters (movie roles). I want you to watch, his movie "Rudra veena" for a feel of what kind of love he promoted. Thanks.

That's cuz he was never projected as a romantic hero...neither does he have those looks. Having said that, just cuz he personally didn't make those kind of movies doesn't mean anything. When such movies were made, he didn't make a single comment suggesting to stop making such movies. Secondly, he did a lot of crap movies (like taking law n order into his own hands kinda movies) which can actually inspire ppl to take ludicrous steps.
