Good humorous review!! Totally aggreeable, inspite of friends advicing her not to go for her decision, she still wants to pursue! she could have challenged herself with the same guts to excel in her other jobs!!
I didn't really think this movie was the best but it wasn't the worst either. I liked how this movie showed the value of family, but it could of been an inspiring movie where Rani gets an education and suppourts her family with the knowledge she has. Also Rani and Konkana did good acting.
I have never read such a dishonest and incorrect review. The guy who wrote this should get a good hard kick in his butt and be stopped from writing such wrong reviews. After so many days, i liked watching a good and well directed movie. the movie was refreshing with good script, great performances and I would rate this as a very good movie

well said. the guy who wrote this review deserves a well aimed kick straight i his ass. how rude!! how dare he criticize such a master piece. i luved the movie enough to see it a hundred and twenty times. plzz plzz dont mind this bluberring blundering misleading review. do watch the movie and deciede for yourselves.
hv heard so much of this guy being the worst reviewer ever. Saw the movie yesterday & totally believe it. Reason :- Laaga is fantastic movie, & a must watch. every charater is well defined & script gives reasons to all the major events. why rani took the job she did, why she couldn't secure one else than being an escort, why abhishek choose to accept rani even after her knowing her past.
Now to the extend raja sen went to bash his fellow bong's movie. I never heard Anupam kher coughing at the background for once. He had heart problem not tuberculosis. His attitute towards the situtation at home is very real & you will find charater like him in real life. so was konkana charater - younger ones always get a shield from daliy problems by elders sbilings.
More over why rani took the job she did, well there is atleast 15min screen time spent on explaining how she failed in all the jobs she tried.Conclusion :- don't write masala reviews forehand, we least care about your writing skills. You are one of those who don't appreciate good movies, so better look for other job.
I must say Laaga chunri mein daag is a wonderfully made movie...I just loved it..Rani and konkona's acting is just superb! Every other characters are also wonderful in their own places..Rani is looking extremely beautiful also in the movie... LMWM is just a grt movie..I don't understand how people are giving such bad reviews!

this movie is a beautiful one ppl, so, please go and watch it!! its got everything, a story, even tho its a bit serious and makes u feel sad a bit, but still, a good story, the beautiful actresses doing their job very well...rani is just excellent!!!! nobody can replce her ever!!her acting rocks!! konkona has that beautiful charming appearance , and not to mention her first class acting... and then , the guys do their jobs pretty well.... just loved kunal!! and best of all , the benaras sets and the sharp contrasting mumbai backgrounnds and all.... its just superb.... go ahead and watch laaga if u r lookin for a good movie!

I agree with malathi and julia. LCMD is not as bad as Raja Sen has written in his review. It is a great film. I am pleased that Rani has done a great job. To some extent, she has even challenged a great actress like Jaya Bachhan and scored over her. She was natural and perfect for the role. So were all the others. Songs are a treat. Only minus point is Hema Malini. Was the role necessary?
