i read this same report in New York Times that all these are classics.....feel sorry that these could not go for the Oscar....Rajni would have certainly received not only an Oscar but rotten tomatoes for his acting....

Oscars never show profits to the producer. It is a commercial media and hence everyone has to be profited, except Baba are the movies are commercial hit and made sensational stories in all the news papers. people who feel jealous about him has to smell the rotten eggs

Even Baba is a superhit movie when compared to those junk bollywood movies. But for the Superstar Rajni's range the movie is considered to be a flop and he gave the money back to distributors. So before commenting bout Rajni know bout ur bollywood first .
ng can be achieved if one has the talent and the inner fire to succeed in whatever field he/she takes up.
Whatever I've written here just crossed my thoughts for a few minutes and your entire movie scenes are running before my eyes. The locations, screenplay, dialogues were simply great. I've seen this movie three times and interested to watch few more times.
Hats off to you RAM. Good work. Expecting the same in the future.
Story is simple but I admired the screenplay and direction and sure it was an excellent work.
The concept is fine but why is it directed only against IT & ITES industry.
This industry made many lower and middle class people to see and experience what luxury life is, but all this is achieved by their hardwork and missing out regular sleeping hrs.
Why should Mr.Prabhakar get jealous of Mr.Anantharaman and his colleagues, instead he could have taken that as a challenge and write more literature, Story and Novels rather than helping to write love letters to his roommate.
There are so many readers interested in reading literature, Story and Novels including me.
Anyway i'm not blaming your direction and the concept you have taken.
IT & ITES is not against Tamil/Tamil studying students. In any field one has to get trained and then be on the job and the same applied to IT and ITES and people from any field can now get training and enter this industry.
I can give you many examples in the current society itself, hope you read an article about idly makers son from a slum area is now an entrepreneur running a leading catering service in the country. He started his career as a Software Engineer in Polaris, where he worked for two years and then did his MBA in ISB - now a leading person, inspirational and role model to many. Take the examples of Sujatha, Thankar Bachan, Vali, Vairamuthu and the list goes on. Only hard working skills matters here and anythi
