Khan is a title and it is not even an Islamic title...actually the real khans are those decendents of Mongolians..the decendants of Changez (or Ganjes) Khan...the real muslim sir names are are rizwi, zaidi, kazmi, ansari, qureshi, these are mix of syed and/or arabic tribes spread throughout the world...the Pathans, who mostly adopted the Khan title bestowed by Mongols, were mostly a mix of Aryans and Greeko-Romans who were spread throughtout the Central Asia. It is no secret that the syed cast muslims and the tribal caste muslims of Arab origin do not consider these central asain pathans as one of/from them. But, being a worrier (Greko-Roman) community Khans are very emotional, clear hearted and easily encitable people...that is why they have been extnsively made fool by Osama Bin Laden, Mulla Omar and other low cast Arab Ansari and Qureishy decents, one of which was also Ziaul Haq and the current president of pakistan Musharraf of also of same stock. As a result the Pathan community overthrew the russian empire from Afghanistan and today they are suffering at the hands of Iranian and other decents. Even the Pathans of NWFP are also being targeted while the real problem is in Kashmir, Islamabad and Karachi. To hide attention from their own wrongs the Pak government is targetting the innocent Frontier Pathans and killing them every day. Please note that frontier pathans were always the friends of India and they used to come to Delhi to sell dry fruits. They are not cowards.

Interesting but debatable on different plateform on the background of History, Geography & Socio System prevailed in Medival India History. One of the reader raised "Arya" created by British. We can refer Mahabharat & Ramayana where ARYA was the popular title used by many. Khan is also a title like SINGH which is used by many. So to find out the roots, we should use different plateform among the Top Notch Learned people who have knowledge n authority on these subject. I don't have but many scholors based in Delhi, Lucknow, Allahabad, Aligarh university who can answer & debate. Regards

there is nothing like "aryans" , arya is a sanskrit word means elderly person , this was created by British historians who divide India later this lie was carried forward by indian indian pseudo historians
