saw thw film in a preview. for a first feature the directors handling of the adaptation is great!tannishtha Chatterjee has the most beautiful and expressive eyes i have seen in a long while. a lot of the film depends on the way she performs and she does a wonderful job. i would suggest people to go and watch this movie when it releases in november.
Saw the movie in Toronto. Great film! Wanted to know when is it releasing so that i can tell my friends, Tannishtha Chatterjee is excellent. She does not look an actor but the character herself.She bhas the rare ability bto express without words. her contained performance , cinematography, great music and direct6ion by Sarah gavarone makes Brick lane a wonderful film.
