I think comparing with shaan or sonu nigam is not a intelligent move but we just trust him as we know his singing talent & give him a chance.
when shaan was stepped in as a host for this programme people were comparing him with sonu nigam but after some time shaan shown his own style & proved his abilities like wise i think this young lad will also prove his prodigy.
Well he deserved to be Voice of India instead of Ishmeet, but he is a talented boy who has music in his blood and I am sure he will be good at anything he does.
Abhas is indeed a fine singer, but please let him get on with his studies;let him finish at least the basic graduation course, after which he can do as many things as he is talented in.
Regular anchoring cannot be a part-time thing; it takes away a lot of time, nervous and physical energy.
Besides, anchors like Shaan, and Sonu Nigam are highly versatile, have a great sense of presence, and are good-looking guys with terrific personalities.
Abhaas too may get into that category, but he needs to do more niche programmes before he's asked to manage a huge national talent show on national TV. He certainly looks babyish still. Surekha Tenneti Venugopal

well i think abhaas has a got lot of stageg presencve which makes him look good infact very dood on stage. he is a wonderful singer, we all know that that is why he won the special jury award....the judges know who is good. and since he may look a lil babyish thats why he is asked to host the program for kidz not for elders. and abhaas has a terrific sense of humor and is highly spontaneous. he has all the qualities needed for a host, besides that he is a good singer which can enable him to sing on the show as well for the show's opening or closing.

I think they are not making it compulsory for him. Its the family who is allowing him to this stuff so they are to be blamed for it.
why do you call abhaas from indore he is from jabalpur. i have seen his stage show in jabalpur which was folowed by peformance after that of sudesh bhosle. and believe me even the roudy college audeince was also of the view that sudesh should have been replaced by abhaas. this was four years back soon after he had won the kids championship on zee sare gama pa(older version)

desis wont change! Ms Pyasi how does that matter for a talented person if he was referred from some other city! In this whole article it was about a 'Person' and juss by referring from another city wont change his state! Get a life!

Dear Lakhan, Rediff has a wide reachout and the reporters need to be responsible enough while giving fact.The fact is Abhaas is from jabalpur. It does not affect him from which city he hails from. But for sure the lakhs of people from his city see a lot of pride in producing such talent. After all we live for pride and its for the pride of city that we should be more responsible.
first thing kid shud be a kid and not a host.. he has his student life in front of him.. and though he gets this offer he shudnt accept him.. if he really has talent he can join any time in future.. but for the present concentrate on studies..... and by the way where is the rule that kid shud be a host for a kids show... ridiculous!! star spoiling kids!!
