Sanjay dutt was not involved in Bombay riots. Yes, he asked his friends from underworld to provide him some weapon to defend himself because his family was getting threatening phone calls from Shiv sana supports at the time of riots and that too because Sunil dutt was helping riots victim in his constituency and they happened to be Muslim which shiv sena did not like. When he got AK 47 he did not keep it because he got scare and asked his other friend%u2019s help to dispose or destroy it. One of the friend was Yusuf Nalwala who too is also sentenced with him. How did police came to know about it? Well the people arrests for Bomb blast were interrogated by police they told them about it to police. But police did not find the AK 47 at his house it was destroyed long before that. At that time Sanjay was out of India. He came back and went to police and he himself accepted that he had the AK 47. Sanjay was convicted based on his own confession otherwise there was no other evidence to convict it. My point is Sanjay made a mistake. But he did not harm any body. He spent more than one and half year in jail which is more than enough for his MISTAKE.
Secondly when some people say, Sanjay got bail because of Sonia Gandhi or congress etc. we seem to forget that we have a constitution and as per our constitution we have Independent judiciary. When we make such comments that means we suspect our judiciary and in this particular case we are suspecting India%u2019s Supreme Court.

Well said Rumani bhai.. This is the fact. I wonder what would have happened if Sanjay Dutt denied all this allegations.. Just think about it..
On Celluliod only director has got complete command on the artistes.Now sanjay has to think that he is doing a film inside the jail environment and his movements or takes are commanded by jail authorites, inmates , lawyers and law of court.And also when is coming in or out of the prison he has to assume that it is commercial or intermission break in the show.people should motivate in such way to him. we believe he has done wrong thing in his life and to correct wrong to right he has pray to the god that after completion of my jail term, I will contribute my whole life to the citizens of mumbia for their betterment.

am sure he is not involved in the bomb blast although he had contacts with the terrorists. who didnt have contacts, first put the politicians in jail and sanjay. sanjay has to pay the price for his mistake of keeping ak47 but i would say instead giving him a jail sentence, give him something which will benefeit the bomb blast victims like making him pay 50 crores for the mistake which will be given to the victims. jai hind.

To Christy-----------In our life a time comes when its very hard to make decision between good and bad, wrong and right. I think u don't background of Sanjay Dutt, when he born he lost his Mother, when he was in teens age he got addicted to drugs, he got married but that marriage last long for three years and then finally he got trapped in TADA. I think u don't know boy's mentality, when they are young they have got hot blood in their veins which encourages them to be powerful. Similarly Sanjay want to be powerful but he don't foresight that outcome could be very destructive.
So everyone learns lessons from their experiences don't blame someone without analysing someone's past and mistake.
The essence is he is good human being and he regrets what hi did in his past. I would wish him best luck for future and life.

Dear Rudransh, I agree with what you say..he suffered a lot in his lifetime . But if you sympathize with sanju why not with people who committed lesser crimes and still behind bar as they don't have money and influence.If law says he should be punished for 6 years for his mistakes ,let sanju baba as a good citizen of india spend 6 years and come back clean.
