Was going through this chain of emails, and realised, as an outsider it will be so very easy to gain control on India, divide them by North and South India. Divide them on cast, divide them by religion...and u r a winner. Why we have so much hatered for each other, some like Rajani..some Sharukh..so whats the big deal, lets appreciate each others choice and move ahead in life. Yes..The 1st post is sensible..Majority at singapore-malaysia are tamils..This is how, superstars fame crossed borders as well. SUPERSTARS magnum opus SIVAJI had a bigger opening in kerala, when compared to even their own star or any other actors movies.. thalaivar is great !

what a big joke. Most of Singaporeans are south indians ? And btw only in TN is Rajnikant a superstar not in all of South India. There are other superstars in South India for the respective languages like Rajkumar, Mammotty, Chiranjeevi etc.

Recently i have been in Japan...The People there Dont know Indian Prime minister.....Amitabh Bachan.......They Only Knows One Indian...Thats Rajinikanth. Someplaces we need to tell that i am from Rajinis Place.So they understand that we r Indians.I am a Great watcher or Hindi,tamil,telugu,english,malayalam Movies. But Ok we have to know that we should watch movies according to the mindset.If wuality wise if we are checking movies...i can say that Om Shanthi Ohm is the worst Movie made Hindi movie recent time. Hindi Movies the quality is becoming so poor. But the Advertisment and Media hype is going on... .But still rajini is the star.Even though Amitji is the King of Indian Cineme,No one in Indian Films can match the Potential of Mohanlal.Still Rajini is the star the real superstar
What is special about Shivaji? Is it communicating anything special for us to carry? Huge amount is spent on earning very enormous amount and it has nothing new to contribute to the society in India. Yes I understand that it is an entertainment. Good. But entertainment should have some values to contribute for the betterment of the society. In this movie the media hype is clearly seen and I feel sorry for the people who watch it. I did not watch the movie fully but my wife watched it and told me the whole story. Thanks.

So are you finding any message for the society in movies like cheenikum,JBJ,OSO, saawariya,AAG etc..?? Ppl watch movies only to get some entertainment for 3 hrs.. and sivaji fulfills that ..

1. This is the first time that the Singapore Airlines has purchased the rights of an Indian movie.
2. He said the rights had been purchased from Ayngaran International, a London-based company which had the distribution rights of Sivaji for the overseas market, by offering "two times more than the normal rate."
3. Mahadevan said the exclusive right was only for 3 months, after which other airlines could also opt for the movie.
4. Stating that the film would be screened to over two million passengers a month.
5. Expressing happiness over the association, Babu, the CEO of AVM Productions, the producers of Sivaji, said the film had set a record in the Tamil film industry by running more than 100 days in overseas theatres.
The film would be dubbed in Hindi and released in January next, he added.
Congrats Rajni & Team for this wonderful achievement.
If some stomach burning parties travelling in Singapore Airlines does not want to see Sivaji can jump out of flight and reach ............

man, Rajni is making crores making a normal entertainer, yet your applauding as though he has done some wonderful things for society. Shows your mental capacity. Indian movies including Bollywood are still stuck in the rut of hero-worship where content is secondary and star power, style is primary. Indian movies have lost the ability to touch our hearts to make us think, to make us reflect on life.They expect us to just leave our brains behind, there is not even 1% of reality in Indian films.
