I live in Britain and I can relate to the film. Probably rediff and the audience who did not like the film are all Indians who cannot think beyond cricket and now hockey!!! I always read reviews here before watching a film and to my utter disappointment the reviews are always opposite to how i find the film. Goal is a great entertainer and i think Boman was a better coach then SRK...anytime! and as for John...he was "the FOOTBALLER" in the film and we all here would love to see him in Goal 2!!!!

Seems RAJA SEN is replying here as well! OUCH!!! I agree with the Londoner... I have seen Goal and Chak De both. Chak De is a good film but GOAL is brilliant on its own terms!

He is lucky to get roles in films. where is the acting; face expression, voice modulation, dancing skill etc. But it is not his fault. Many others also are lucky to get the roles on looks and good physique only ! Soon he'll also disappear.
Goal is doing very good in box office, only rediff blames about this movie. why ?? writters have got any personal problems with john or bipasha ???? stupids !!
