Hi Everyone I prefer to call this all reality show as follows Voice of India = Voice of Punjab Indian Idiol = Darjeeling Idiol I agree Ishmeet Singh is good singer but he is not as good to become Voice of India. In case of Indian Idiol Prashant,he an average singer and not at all deserve to win India Idiol.He is Darjeeling Idiol.

Ver true. All the real talent leaves due to these faulty SMS's and the not so good ones remain. Reginoalism, Religion, gender bias are all promoted via SMS. Very sad indeed that good singers like Aabhas, Irfan, Toshi, Priyani, Abhilasha and Ashpreet are out and this Ishmeet is there. All farce a total farce. And who checks the SMS counting none of us, so how do we know that really people have send so many SMS's to him.
This guy has no business to be in the finals. He should have been knocked off very early. The only reason he is here because of the SMS blitzkrieg or a powerful backing (from manmohan singh?)

BUT this is what is happening in all reality shows. The best get kicked out in the early stages leaving the medicore behind. see what happened to indian idol context. same story repeated here.

Yes its true the real talent leaves and the not so good ones remain and in one of the shows the judges have said that received threatning messages to let Ishmeet win. Shows the kind of dearth of accepting good talent in our country.

I do agree that VOI is perpetrating regionalism in a country like ours already torn by the same.
This needs to be strongly condemned and regional vote banks system should be eliminated.
However Ishmeet is an excellent singer and that shows in his voice and rendition.

Moumita is upset with the progress of punjabis. Punjabis are just 2% of india but are seen progressing in all parts of world. Ishmeet is an excuse to show frustration. If ishmeet is poor and others are good, let them come up the way daler mehndi, gurdas mann, Bindrakhia, Jazzy B and others came up and proved their worth.

Hi Moumita. I agree with you that all the reality shows are a farce. But that is what is the big money grosser. The shows have seen many talented singers. Infact yes, Irfan, Toshi are good singers, but we the audience have made the final decision. I do not agree with you about spreading regionalism etc thru these shows. Let us be fair. We also expect our near and dear ones to support us before we turn to any body. This doesn't mean that I do no want the others. Also the natak among Lalit, adesh and Harshit is crazy. They want to bring in Harshit's grandmother for everything. Outrageously sick. Its like asking people to vote for his blind grandmother and not for a deserving singer.

Hi Imran. Why dont u tell people to stop voting. Let us see what happens to the show. I will tell you. U must have heard about Indian Idol getting 7 crores sms. All these is bull shit. Even if u do not SMS ur winner, the winner will still be decided by the judges.

I don't agree with u from which angle does Ishmeet appear talented to you. Listen to the songs sung by Irfan, Abhas, Priyani and Abhilasha and the next moments listen to Ishmeet singing, u will find out the difference.

you stop hate punjab campaign. You don't need reality shows. Talent will win in the end. I think Punjabi songs (sung by unknown singers) are more popular than bollywood songs.

I have talked to many people and all have told me that Ishmeet has the quality in his voice that even Kishore Kumar's voice cannot match. It is now agreed by all honest singers that Ishmeet will end up being the best voice ever in the history of Indian music. That is why the show is trying to take the credit in advance by helping him win. Even the mentors in the show are jealous of him now.

No one is doing anti-campaign Mr. u Punjabis can never accept the talent of others if ur own kith n kin are there in some competition. Whether u accept it or not Ishmeet is SMS king and not a talent king. talent lies in the blood of Abhilasha, Priyani, Ashpreet, Toshi, Irfan and Abhas.

Why should I beg and its u guys who are begging for Ishmeet that's why despite not deserving to be on the top two he has managed to reach becoz of people like u. And regarding other talents, they will prove themselves very soon becoz music is in their blood, when Abhas, Irfan, Toshi, Ashpreet, Abhilasha and Priyani sing thaty time everyone becomes pin drop silent and listens to them. A heavenly aura gets created which u accept it or not doesn't happen when Ishmeet sings. And moreover VOI is not the ultimatum, after VOI the ones who have been voted out will make a mark in the industry becoz of their talent and Ishmeet will have to struggle despite winning. He will open a garage in Punjab and sit becoz as it is he has won four imported motorbikes and two imported cars due to faulty SMS.

i haven't heard ishmeet yet. But i m smelling anti punjabi campaign. I never listen to your useless bollywood/reality show singers. I think real talent will always grow. No need of SMS. If somebody is really good, let them come up like daler mehndi, gurdas mann, harbhajjan mann, Jazzy B, Bindrakhia, Jaspinder narula, Inderjit niku, balkar sidhu, grewal, nachatar gill and others.

I wonder, if you don't like whats going on the show and the judging system, then why do you still continue to watch the show and follow it so religiously?
It is exactly the purpose of the show, to entertain people and collect money for that. They are not into it for some charity work or for finding talents for the future.

I thought Sumitra Iyer was very good and deserved to be in the top 3 at least. She is exceptionally talented and was hailed by all the judges as the Voice of India. She is from Mumbai and I cant believe that Mumbai with more than 16 million population voted her out. There is certainly more to it than meets the eye. I agree with Moumita that talented singers are getting the boot while mediocre ones are hanging around on the threshold of fame.
