saawariya is a movie for all those who have seen and admired movies like Pride and Prejudice,King Kong,Kate and Leopold....what the movie requires is class audience and not crass audience.so go and watch it and decide which category you fall in.
so many reviews..but why only saawariya has to suffer...it really leaves doubt for whtever has been written.i liked both saawariya n oso..n infact saawariya is better than oso.nice sets..decent acting from both the newcomers..awesome music.no doubt movie is not a masala fare..its bit slow..but worth watching.if u compare oso n saawariya..oso first half is good..but second half is really boring.climax is very much similar to old movie madhumati..n climax song is similar to karz..giving 4 star rating to oso is not worth..its an average movie which is doing great business just beacuse the way it was marketted n bcz of shahrukh.

I completely agree with you.. actually both were average, just becasuse saawaiya doesnt have star power, its suffering..
Wat was so gr8 in OSO, its typical old movie type.. An average..But its worked coz of hype & Star power- SRK..
Saawariya is meant to be a dream and it is a beautifully portrayed dream. Each frame is like an imaginatively etched painting. It is much better than OSO. OSO has an entertaining first half but second half is a terrible bore. Even stuffing a song with the current kings and queens of bollywood (as well as the have beens and wannabe kings and queens) could not stop me from snoring. SRK is the most overrated actor(?) in Bollywood.
AFTER WATCHING SAAWARIA ONE THING IS CLEAR... THIS TYPE OR REVIEW IS ALL TO MAKE OSO A HIT. WE CANNOT BELIEVE OSO MADE 40 CRORES..BECAUSE SAME PEOPLE ARE WRITING OSO IS 4 STAR MOVIE. OSO IS STILL A FLOP...because LOTS OF MONEY IS SPENT FOR THE PUBLICITY. EVEN JOURNALISTS ARE PAID HUGE AMOUNT TO WRITE THIS NUMBER... NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT HOW MUCH IS SPENT FOR THE MOVIE. ON THE OTHER HAND SAAWARIA MADE ITS MONEY BY SELLING RANBIR"S TOWEL ONLY.
After spending 5-crores on a single actor; OSO might have paid crores to buy the media; rediff got a big share. See the archives of Rediff over the last three weeks, it is completely polarised and biased towards OSO upto 95%.
really how much did this person get to write this review?if this is a justification for the raja sen review it surely does not work and nor does the original rediff review.the movie was beautiful.i will watch it twice to avoid something cheap like om shanti om
