Oh c'mon mann... What on earth prompted you to give 3 and half stars for such a crap of a movie. Actually its not even a movie, just a collection of gags and spoofs. 2nd half shows how badly shah rukh can act.. It's worthy of worst acting award.
Director Sahiba, please, please call him! He has gone to so many lengths and truly deserves your dancing company. He was so exact that we actually fell for it and saw the movie.
this movie is the epitome of everything we held so dear about the older hindi movies, hamming, song-and-dance, unfunny jokes, song-and-dance, "stock Bollywood tomfoolery", song-and-dance, and everything we love about the industry now - awards functions and commercial breaks. Whoops! I have to clean up my vomit off the keyboard before I write any further.
But hang on; I%u2019m getting way ahead of myself. No wait! I%u2019m just trying to hang myself. "Bollywood is bizarre and campy and over-the-top and unprofessional and snide and egotistical and sporadic and dynastic and facetious and utterly self-smitten", and yet we needed reminder of that on reel. As if that fact doesn't present itself to us every time we see an awards function or one of the many such inane movies that, bizarrely enough, get to see the light of the day.
Of course there are those who have "breathed in filmy fumes" for so long and in such quantities that they have become like petrol addicts and need more and more.
For the rest of us, "the movie is a smile"...oops did I say smile? I meant miles%u2026 miles that we had to traverse barefoot over mounds of ground glass under a blistering desert sun with only hot sea-water to drink.

Director Sahiba, please make a spoof of the 80s next!! i would really love that, i liked the 80s even better than the 70s (there's me vomiting again. Sigh!).
And Mr. Sen has already written a review for Return to Khiladi and stored it in a safe place so make sure to honor his profound wishes and make that movie as well. pretty please, even if it is with SRK in the lead.
At the end of the day, Ranbir, Sonam and Deepika are the BEST gifts to Bollywood, and a very welcome change for the audience. Here's hoping they rule!! As the kid in the Pepsi commercial says,"zara side de, uncle"!!!!
Saawariya is one beautiful movie. I just loved it. Ranbir is too good. Fine actor and very charming.
This movie is a must watch for people who have a heart which can feel love and who dream and live life each moment. This movie is not for those whose life spins around money and who can only think of paisa wasool. My advice to paisa wasool types: go spend your money on idli sambhar or chole bhature because your type can never understand depth of love

Saawariys is very beautiful movie . ek baat to jagjahir ho gayi ,ki shahrukh koi king ving nahi hai vo fattu khan hai . jo saawaria se dar gaya or apni cheap film ki publicity saawariya se jayda ki . kabhi vo world cup mein pauhunch jaata , or kabhi cricket matches mein , tv programmes mein or tarah tarha ke big hording delhi metro ke every small stations per lagvana . isse ek baat to saaf hai ise apne aap per yakin nahi hai or darta hai sachai se ki janta ab use napasand karne lagi hai . shahrukh ko film industry mein 16 years ho gaye hai , agar osefilm ko success karne ke liye is tarah publicity karni padti hai to ouse chulu bhar pani mein dub jaana chahiye . Ek Bacha Ranbir Kapoor uski halat itni kharab kar sakta hai to sochiye Amir khan , Akshay kumar , Hritk Roshan ,Abhishek Bachchan kya halat karenge aane wale years mein uski . shahrukh ek baat hamesha yaad rakh le ye teri film ke safalta nahi ye big publiciy , media handling , tikrams or makkarbazi ki jeet hai . or iska naash ek din jaroor hoga .
One fact I learned from the bullshit movie is that if u kill yourself by stepping before a car carrying an expecting lady! Don't feel low or turn sad.... you are gone no-where and you will still come back in the world!!!!! hehehehehehe
