Taare Zameen Par is an excellent movie and I recommend everybody to watch it.
The last movies of Aamir Khan : Earth, Lagaan, Mangal Pandey, Rang De Basanti were all good movies as compared to the stupid repeating stories that other actors (such as Shah Ruck Khan) would play and cheered by the foolish public.
I am shocked that a movie like Om Shanti Om with such bad scripts and performances is rocking in India. Is it a blind love for Shah Ruck Khan or the majority of Indian people prefers stupid movies
Taare Zeeman Par is the first Indian Movie of this year which made my heart cry and laugh.

by ganesh krishnan on Dec 13, 2007 11:42 PM hey guys why some of u r criticizing aamir khan.....one must agree that all his films are really well made......one must applaud him 4 that....his films r blockbusters too.....4 the record fanaa is this year's 3rd highest grossing movie & rangde basanti 4th...... sharukh khan is not there without the chopras and johars.......chalte chalte was just an avg hit while paheli bombed at the box office.....these 2 films had no chopras or the johars....these 2 films r only samples.....from the past itself he has clearly shown that he cant deliver a blockbuster without the chopra-johar combo.....while most of u r ust going crazy over don & kank 4 ur record these 2 films r just hits...not blockbusters as compared 2 fanaa & rang de basanti.... as yogesh mentioned earlier,abhishek is nowhere as an actor..but c now where he is today.... aamir khan is an exception from all these....his films r really a treat 2 watch.....

Absolutely true! Not to say he is a total fool, but there is certainly not as much talent in him as is made out to be. A few of his films were very good, but several were not; and even in those films which WERE good, he was at most mediocre.
There are no two ways about this. He is overrated.

To Maninder Singh and Sameer Kumar,
I bet if aamir's name was some kumar or sharma, you would nt have dared to trouble your incompetent brains in accepting him as one of the few greatest actors this world have seen! Go bite the dust, he has come up with yet another masterpiece of his, if somebody has sen it and still criticizes it, them his intellect level is pitiable! AAMIR KHAN was a genius, is a genius and will remain one no matter how many dogs(modi's dogs, to be precise) bark.
