Stop slating TRRP. Go to boxofficeindia.com or ibosnetwork.com and see for urself that it is a semi-hit already. Gangster was bakwas. Read this:
"Q: How does 2007 compare to 2006 at the box office? A: At this point last year, there were only 5 earners: Rang De Basanti, Malamal Weekly, 36 China Town, Taxi No. 9211, and Gangster in that order. This year has seen 7 already: Guru, Namaste London, Tara Rum Pum, Honeymoon Travels, Bheja Fry, Metro and Namesake. Also the overseas collections this year are higher at the same point last year."
See TRRP has made money. If by your comments people stop making clean family films and stop casting the phenomenal Rani Mukerji Bollywood will lose out. Face it rediff-TRRP is a hit depsite ur sentiments and despite u saying it had flopped n your box office reports. U r liars and dont have a clue how the new box office works. Films dont become hits/flops after just one week anymore at the box office it is like the West now where a film that opens well can flop and a film that opens average can a be a hit (like TRRP and Metro).
I have been of the view that film that is different is always welcome and notion support is that big is not always beautiful i.e small is also good.Film with small budget and less known actor can also make it to the big screen and no monoply of Any camp like Karan Jhohar,Yasraj etc. They make movies big with starts but there films storylines they depend mostly on media and stars in film. For all the sucess of this small budget film i thank the audience tooo that they are smart and want something different and these big houses doesnt take us for granted.I agreed that some directors make remake but that also needs to work hard and the audience is best judge. The new crop of directors make big ones eat there pie. Most overated directors are Karan johar,Kunal Kohli,Sanjay Gupta etc,They are created by media only.
It is unfortunate that the filmmakers are raving so much about this movie which is a complete copy of the French Film "The Dinner Game" which is very hilarious.
the only difference is it is a "News Paper Owner" in the original and they have made a very big change and made it as "Music Company" owners.
No original ideas..just try to copy films...very bad.

mr srikant it requires lot of efforts to remake also. any ways good day its ur thought .
In 2007, there are so many hit films in tamil. All hits are because of good story and scripts, not just because of actors. But in Hindi, they believe only in actors. Copying the stories from other languages, having stereotype songs wont work always. Bollywood believe in yourselves, you too can win.

Hey Kadavul,
What you say is true. You should also attribute it to the audience. The bollywood audience were so far immature enough to appreciate good films. Now there are some pockets where such movies are doing good. @some of the guys...the article does mention tamil cinema and it also says Indian cinema's evolution..blah blah blah... He should probably say evolution of hindi cinema and audience....what say

Mr Kadavul..a movie being hit or flop doesnt solely depend on one thing....all together ie the actors, script songs make it a hit or flop....its different with each individual whether they like to see a movie coz of its story songs actor........so stop givin these stupid comments ok
