No it is the other way round. The original idea comes in malayalam, then it is copied in Tamil, then Telegu, and finally Bollywood.

the bollwood, kollwood, tollywood and all others remake malayalam films to get money frm the remade versions. they dont do it for fun so dont blame mallus to be money minded alone-every1 is
u seems to have lost ur job due to some intelligent mallus who undesrtood tht allowing u to continue in the job wud put an end to their cmpany-thts y u r barking

y r u people getting hyper over Mr . Raju Sunder's words ? .... relax anyone can say anything in this world and you require facts to prove your statements . Mr.Raju doesn't have that where as if i say Raju is the biggest "IDIOT" I have seen in my life then i have facts ( all those scraps written by our friend above ) to prove the same

An outrageous statement. greed Malayalam filmdom has gone through a very long bad patch. But they don't make "all remakes"
Actually many movies coming in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada are remakes of Malayalam movies made more than a decade.
Police Public, Doli Sajake Rakhna, Hungama, Hulchal, Herapheri series amd 'n' number of movies in Hindi were remakes from Malayalam.
In Malayalam, they might borrow ideas from English movies. But only in Malayalam and to a lesser extent in Tamil do they make good 'inspired' movies.
To brand all Malayalam movies as remakes is plain prejudice!

i think you got to watch some malayalam movies hera pheri,phir hera pheri,har dil jo pyar karega,hulchul...lot hindi movies from malayalam muthu,adbhda deep,chandramukhi,majj....all in tamil tell me some malayalam movies that are exact replicas of some other language movie..

Be Fair, Most of movies are made from malayalam only. Its very very few movies copied from other languages to malayalam. One example is, RamjiRao Speaking is copied into various langauages. Like Arangetra Velai (1990) in Tamil and Hera pheri in hindi. still these movies does not have soul and quality of original movie.

Dear frnds, Leave this foolish sunder. He talk of ignorance. Bechara.... He knows only about Hindi films and not other language. 50% of Hindi movies are the result of either hollywood or regional launguage films. This is widely known fact
