Tamils are always the best, only learned and highly sophisticated people can appreciate a language like Tamil, which dates way back to 200 B.C. By the way Tamil and Sanskrit are the only two classical languages of India .So as a Tamilian I can proudly say that my mother tongue TAMIL has individuality and originality unlike Kanada .That answers your question why Kanadigas can never understand history and uniqueness of this great language.

People are arguing whether Rajnikanth is kannadiga or tamilian etc. Actually he is an indian of marathi Rao parentage(His real name is sivaji rao gaekwad) born in karnataka and got his fame in Tamilnadu. Not to leave Andra he has got "Rao" in his name too.

My friend, Every part of India have their great kings of which everyone should be proud of. If tamil people had rajaraja chola, karnataka has got vijaya nagara king krishnadevaraya. In fact while cholas ruled at a time where the threat of islamic sultanese was the least threat, krishna devaraya lived among a constant war with those sultanese and finally conquered. While rararaja constructed the great tanjore shiva temple krishnadevaraya constructed the famous tirupathi. To me both these kings deserve a mention in our CBSE books and they should be respected and remembered by all indians.

Krishnadevaraya, who is a Tamilian should also be mentioned. I agree with you. There was no Karnataka when Krishnadevaraya was present. There were pockets of people speaking Tamil, Telugu, Marati, etc. Most of North Karnataka has Marati influence, while south has Tamil influence. Kannada was is very young compared to Tamil and Krishnadevaray was Tamil based on the Tamil carvings at Tirupathi. Your argument is silly. Its like saying, the people in Mohanjo Daro and Harrapa civilizations were Pakistanis. Dude, get a life.

As far as free power is concerned from tam, In karnataka most of the electricity is home grown! what ever it gets from kalpakam is a meagre 2-5% of what is produced. Infact tam gets all the power from tadadi and raichur! A major percentage!! Moreover, why is bangalore fighting for breating space? More than 40% of bangalore has tams! JUST TAMS

If you have any amount of self respect and dignity, you will curse yourself for all the mis-propoganda that TAMs make about their literature!
As far as Wikipedia links go, it must have been filled up by a fellow TAM. The information in there has no sacredity in it!

I am born and brought up in Tamilnadu.. For 5 gernerations we are here.. My mother tongue is kannada.
There is too much infighting in India. For example:
Kannads vs TN over Water, Kannads vs AP over Water, Kannads vs Goa over Water, Sikhs and Hindus fighting in Punjab and Haryana Kannads vs Kerala over Land (Kasargod), Kannads vs MH over Land (Belgaum)
