That's a good one. Not only your lines, but also the attitude in your response humbles me. Instead of smacking me with a critical rebuke, you knocked me down with your words of love. I really appreciate that. Having said that, I have to tell you that the last two lines in your poem are a bit of a stretch, don't you think?
Sivaji scares Telugu films All the summer Telugu films are aware of Rajnikant%u2019s Sivaji release. It was AMAV, Munna and Aata that had the Sivaji threat last month. And Sivaji is postponed to last week May. Now Dubai Seenu producers are waiting for Shankar to announce the date of Sivaji so that they can readjust the release date. Right now, the producers are planning to release the film in the last week of May. But the final announcement will be made only after Sivaji%u2019s date is confirmed

this nonsense abt highest paid and...stuff...dude stars like srk and aamir these days produce their own flicks...so there is no question of gettin paid...srks next flick he himsekf is producin..which is ard 50 crores...that means...whatever the film will make evrything is his investment i so the profit will also be his.... now tell me when and actor...doesnt even need a producer to produce his flick just imagine the amt of money he is makin... IF RAJNI IS THE HIGHEST PAID...HOW COME...SRK and big b are the top 2 HIGHEST INCOME TAX PAYER SINCE 2000...this year even hrithik has joined the list....they 3 are the top 3 highest income tax payers of the country...for 2006 have u seen the amt of ads srk,big b,hrithik feature in...all international brands...are associated with them...sony erricson,tag heur,compaq,omega,reid adn tailor,dlf,hyundai,john players etc are some example...if rajni was such a huge star...then he should have been gettin these ads...the bottomline is...RAJNI..is a star only in tamil...and to some extent in south of india...whereas srk,big b,aishwarya rai are world renowned....why is there no statue of rajni at maadame tusaauds...along with big b and srk...

If you are top tax payer - means your earnings are higher. But the fact remains rajini is the highest paid actor per film. He acts in one movie for a year - and thats good enuf for him. Amitabh/SRK work on more movies, but fee per movie is less. Gotcha??

Relax pls do not compare Rajni to your bollywood heroes. Even the Superstar of bollywood cannot guarntee that his film would be a hit Kank did not do well in India execpt in Multiplex but a Rajni movie will always guarntee house full for at least 3-7 days in South and even in UK From where i am writing this mail. Kank i saw with only 35 People in the 2nd day of release in a theatre which can accomdate 500 People show me one rajni movie like this .

dude even am writing this mail from UK.why do get one flop movie and compare??isnt it evident tht rajni is only for tamilians and praised by tamilians.if he is the highest earner in Inidan cinema why his name hasn't he been seen in the list highest tax payers??u b happy with Rajnikant.i respect for whatever he has achieved.coz a human to worshiped as God is no joke.he is enjoying it.facts raised by some of the bloggers are correct here.why dont we see him associated with any of the MNC.why his posters are not seen in US and europe forget it we dont even see it in rest of India??observe proplery he is just an average man,below average looks,average acting skills.i dont wish to compare him anybody.but since tamilians insist i have to do it.he is just a movie star/superstar.watch him,enjoy his movies.why such hype??sivaji movie has no content.thats why rediff is showcasing Rajni everyday.if u have any question ask me i shall clear it out.argue logically pls.

Sensible..u don't make much sense to me.Of course SRK, AB are highest tax payers cuz they do lot of commercials. They just don't earn their money from their movies, which btw is not guaranteed always.
Do you think since AB is good looking because he does commercials..please wake up and smell the reality. AB and SRK does commercials just for money and nothing more. Remember the time when AB was bankrupt. On the other hand Rajini has enough money and is not after money hence no commercials required.

sensible..you must be confusing tax -defaulters list with payers list. AB should be behind bar for the 'gaplas' he has done. Ketan Parekh scam and Pune land scam,, he and his pal Amar Singh have to be whipped in public. Please do not compare him with southern stars who religiously pay tax dues. Have you heard of any controversy about Chiranjeevi or Mohanlal or Rajni? But AB is the other end of the spectrum

Charles, SRK is a better TV model than Rajni. Agreed, no argument about that. And besides he is a producer with Juhi, then KBC-3. We are talking only about film popularity and $ earned through film acting alone.

Roshan acting 2 to 3 films a year. Moreover he is engaged in more number of ads. So he has to pay that much tax. What we said is Rajini got the highest payment for a single movie (Sivaji), which none of the actors in India got it. And also he will do only one movie a year. He won't commit a lot for money.

Yes. Rajini IS the highest paid actor in India. If he doesn't pay as much Tax it means that he doesnt act in that many movies. Rajini cannot act in any advt. It would impossibly skew the market. Moreover, he is recluse and prefers solitude. Rajni does need a producer either. But he is not into producing movies. Rajni's pay package includes a percentage of the profit even though he doesn't invest in the movie. Seriously Charles grow up. You are talking about Rajni. His fan-following is unmatched. For Chandramukhi,a fan of his printed posters so big that they could be displayed only in two places in Trichy. I am very sorry to say... You don't have a faintest clue about Tamil Cinema.
Yes, Big B, Aish can be globally famous but RAJNI is more or less GOD in Tamil Nadu.

yeah! maybe most of his movies are illogical! but for a common man from the streets to rise to super stardom and capture the imagination of millions is awesome! who writes the rules that heroes should always be handsome hunks. many heroes in real life are not gorgeous men and women. i agree sometimes the stunts in his movies are physics defying. But cinema does have place for fantasy. if u think rajinikanth movies are not realistic, how can u accept Krissh, Matrix, Main hoon naa etc.?it's fantasy man. just pure entertainment.
I have quoted the instances where people get transformed. Total change in attitude for good cause. A film by few actors bring that change. Other actors cannot do that. That is my argument. That is why fist set of actors hog the limelight. OK....
I think you don't understand any of the south indian language fully. That's why you do not understand the inner meaning of the dialogues. Without any knowledge please do not see films and comment.

How dare you say telugu movies are worst. You are stupid and you never watch telugu movies and commenting them. The only problem with telugu film makers are they dont take films as an art and just make commercial movies.
Could you tell me which telugu movies you watched.
Most of the recent blockbusters in tamil all are telugu remakes ( POKKIRI for eg.,). Any be careful while talking about telugu movies.
