Indian Movies

It's saddening to see so much talk abt Bollywood movies that do not even constitute half of the Indian movie industry in terms of total number of movies. Most of these movies are pretty stupid and my American friends make fun of movies such as 'Don', calling it one of the lousy movies they have ever watched.

Indian movies are much more than Bollywood. Tamil, Telugu and Mallu movie industries are other biggies in India and they do have better story lines than the Hindi ones, and rake in more profits although their budgets are limited. Just because Bollywood is better off financially, they are able to market their crappy products better in America!

When you talk about India in general, it is about the bollywood, because of its reach. All regional language movies don't have as much reach as Hindi movies. So its a case of majority wins, though going by the current trend, you can ask for reservation in reports published in media too. But the simple fact is, more people watch hindi movies so more people talk about it. Don't feel bad, if you want to read more about regional movies there are specific sites.

Mallu Movies are gross...the lead actors are past their prime and run around with girls more than half their age...

they look disgusting, ugly with those pot bellys and displaying their innerwear...I happened to see the clippings for one of the movies and thats the end of it...

I feel sorry for those girls who work with them...

YUCK is the only word

I don't know which state you are from.... Why have you kept quiet about chiranjeevi, nagarjuna, sharat kumar, arjun, sanjay dutt, jackey shroff, anil kapur and the likes of them???? Are the khans still in their twenties???

Acting capability do not fade with age.

And your words make it clear that you have little knowledge about what's going on in malaylam film industry.
