I personally did not like the movie because it tried to pot ray that for culture Indian roots are strong and everything obscene is from the West which i don't agree. In every part of the world such things happen so to hide away from reality and put a blame game on one's culture is wrong. It all depends on how you mold your child. For your name/status and what people/family wold think you cannot push your child to marry an Indian when you have been living in abroad for so many years. You need to understand that by doing that you are making your kids unhappy. One should draw a line in telling your child to not exceed one's limit and that comes from your upbringing. Whichever part of world you are your child will be secure if parents know how to mold kids.I totally disagree to what was shown. Such movies give wrong messages to the audience! I am married and in U.S and yet don't have a kid and it will challenging but my husband and i know our conscience!
Guru did not show anything about Dirubhai's Ambani's life! It exaggerated a lot. In fact i liked Gafla (Stock Market)which is not a commerical movie.
akki is on a dream run i can not think of a movie tat has akki in it n flopped in recent 3 yrs he can do any role unlike srk ... akki is da sexiest man and he rocks

Yes, Its just amazing to see the energy he carries over on the silver screen.... he is a complete actor who can do any role in the current generation of heroes.....
I really hated this movie before and will always be. Its the worst movie made by mani ratnam. Songs were ok but the story was awful. Too many unwanted characters, Copycat of Aviator climax and all based for commercial and nothing else.

Great performances in Guru???? which movie were you watching. Guru had horrible performances. And the movie certainly did not have a tight screenplay... Come on. Koi aur movie to nahi dekhi bhai

I saw her interview along with Akshey on Aaj Tak....she is tooooo proud of herself...a very arrogant girl...I will never go to see her movie but for Akshey bhai's sake, I'll have to go.
Unlike Last year where there were as many as 20 big hits,,this year has only 2 small hits cum more than avg movie with namaste london yet to be finalizd into any category.Big stars like Amitabh and Salman has come with major diappointment.Last year late release "Bhagam Bhag' was a small hit. Stilll we shall not be disappointed as SRK 'BADSHAH is yet to comeand Saif's turum pam' is at floor.Hope for the best.
guru may not be a superhit but it's a hit. it has collected 42 crores within india. add another 15-20 crores as overseas collections. but r u not in a tearing hurry to declare namastey london a hit? it is still in it's opening week. it would be better to wait for it to complete one or 2 weeks of run at the box office to come to a conclusion.
are these really hits? these are just average movies...quality of hindi movies has come down a lot..and people even started thinking that a average movie is a hit movie.
