Though the topic is camparisions between SRK and JR AB but I wonder how can anyone compare SKR to BIG B......Imagine SKR and BIG B to be of same age and then think can SKR give quality performance like AMITABH has in films like DEEWAR/SHOLAY/LAWAARIS/TRISHUL/KALAA PATHAR/SUHAAG/ANDHAA KANOON/KHUDAH GAWAH/AGNIPATH/NAMAK HARAM/ZANJEER/DON/MARD/MUQADAR KA SIKANDER and many more.Even after so much of UPS & DOWNs in his career BIG B has bounced back and give a ride for money for actors of his age.At age of 65 he is still in a position to give tough time to 24yr younder to him actor who has age/stamina/choice of young heroines to act with and play chocolate hero to them. As of KBC...amitabh had raised the show from ground level to great heights and just by refering the computer as COMPAQDA instead of COMPUTERJI for sake of sponsor is not that he is better than AB...or...just by not speaking in pure hindi which I guess SKR cannot even if he wants to.....doesn't mean that he is not benifiting from what AB has contributed to popularising KBC. How different ha SRK acted in his films....be whatever the film his character looks the same instance...KAL HO NA HO...K3G....KANK....VZ....etc. Look at JR AB films and you see the variety of the emerging actor...look at REFUGEE....YUVA....SARKAR....GURU...DHOOM 1/2....DUS...BLUFFMASTER. Come freinds realise SRK is only because of his association with KARAN JOHAR and CHOPRAS proximity with whom he always wants to publicise in through media

i think u do not know that Amitji was the fav with the chopras in his youth- kabhi kabhi and many more.Even now AB has BR Chopra with him-baghban n baabul...baghban chali, babul nahi....its not about the banners.

Cool down mate!!....i quite understand ur point of view and no one can refute the truth that SRK is definitely a self made actor who has been very successful due to various reasons.....but at the same time i also feel that there shud be more variety in his acting and he shud exercise more descretion while selecting roles....i find actors like Hrithik and Saif better than him ....juz my opinion though......as far as ABjr goes .....i don't even want to waste time on commenting on this gibberish ,deadpan, six foot tall zombie with jaundiced eyes and unkempt appearance

SRK Rukh has proved himself over the past decade as a very popular, memorable and timeless performer - and whether you like it or not he has delivered a LOT LOT more hits than Abhisekh. Now I have nothing againsgt Abhisekh - He is younger, has time on his side, and has the potential to grow into a super star performer. But the fact remains is SRK is the bigger superstar now and thats what I was simply trying to state. It has nothing to do with me being a Khan - (For the record, I have the greatest respect and admiration for other superstars of the past/present - be it Big B, Rajesh Khanna, Shammi Kapoor, Sanjeev Kumar, Raj Kapoor, Dev Anand etc) - So stop making a mountain out of a molehill and please dont play the RELIGION card !!!. Besides, I don't think it is fair to either SRK or Abhishek, to be pitted against each other in a product marketing gimmick. There can be no comparision between an already established famed Superstar with a new star who has yet to prove his talent consistently.
We fight over such trivial matters .. well even i had thought that religion did not matter bcos i have so many friends from different religions but i was wrong too. Ambika how can u b so sure that it is not us indians who r doing it? When i stated my views they called me a muslim, but thank u very much i am happy being what i am, dont change my roots. So all hindus are being called muslims, all indian muslims are being called pakis just bcos we dont agree with the others
I think Amitabh is paying rediff a huge amount to endorse his son who is still struggling to give a hit by himself. The way his car endorsement add has been revoked from him, similarly Omega will revoke it too. Just keep watching... Abhishek is a big looser... Now he is known as Amitabh son, very soon he will be called as "Aishwarya Rai Husband".
