Rediff can afford to fill up their space with such useless materials and not only that they can have people to maintain such posts. Moreover there are many people who doesn't have any work and keep posting message.

The guy in the blue bag is the event manager there... I mean he is charging Rs. 5/- for a snap with the ex-miss world. The funds are transfered to the indian politicians for raising fodder in Bihar.
