shweta 4th bachchan entering into the celebrity world... it is too early to say weather this bachchan can prove herself anyhow all the best and welcome to the world of camera.
i guess they wait till the release of drona (or some movie like tht) to cash in their wedding, just as they did with guru - waited to dramatize their engagement till its release.
i saw guru & i honestly think yuva was much better than guru & its only reason for success is the engagement drama surrounded with it.
then we will see ash planning her pregnancy around few abhi releases just as tom-kate did for misssion impossible

I too agree with you. But what will be the next PR drama from the Bachchans for the abhi's next release Jhoom Barabar Jhoom? Any Guess?
Shweta is a commendable woman who has her priorities right. Being a member of a famed family which happens to be an integral part of BW on both her father's (the Bachchans)and her inlaw's (the Kapoors) side she could have easliy hogged the limelight to milk her relation...but she decided against it.
She succeeded in staying outta the spotlight for many years devoting her time to raise her kids. Indeed a woman of substance, a rare breed. We need more of such strong women to represent the modern Indian woman.
I do not support mothers who leave their babies at the mercy of hired help (often abused by them) while they pursue their own pleasures and ambitions.
I hope she goes on to become the OPRAH of desi tv. All the very best to Shweta.
Please do not abuse her for the relentless media circus featuring Aish-Abhi mania and the numerous temple visits of the Bachchans. It is not her fault. Let's be fair and give her a chance to prove herself.

well, one of the senior nanda bahus is a kapoor[raj kapoor's daughter]...that's the connection...
Who the hell Shewta is, How NDTV selects her to host a show, while there are plenty of other intelligent buddies there.
Its all AB who want to encash his name as much as he can, Thats the erason they made the new of Abhishek_aishwarya marriage and visited temples and temples along with Media Cameraman before engagement.
How cheap AB can be, I have never thought of it. I was being a big fan of him, but seeing him and his family running after money and getting into dirty poitics, He is not my Bollywood Idol now.

Yes very true. add to that running along with (and practically living) with criminals like amar singh and mulayam singh.. yucks !! AB sucks bigtime! But i have to say this... his daughter Shweta Nanda does exude an earthy sexuality... very reminiscent of late Smita Patil !

people like you can say like that.Every Bachchan fan know her.I think she deserves that chance she should go ahead and give it a go and does not matter what other people think and say about her. one more thing i want to let you know its not AB who runs after money he does not go to directors and beg for the movies.Its the money who runs after AB. GOT MY POINT.
Here is a commendable woman who has her priorities right. Sukhwinder JEE, I don't need to be a Celeb to know one. Any body can find out for themselves the truth from numerous tabloids featuring extensive articles splashed with countless pictures of all those ppl who are in the spotlight simply because they are RELATED TO A CELEB.
If tabloids are not enough to feed these fame hogs they have to be on tv channels as well commenting on their CELEB FAMILIES.
Very few people know MR Bachchan's only daughter Shweta. She is never caught posing at shutterbugs for any star/film parties. I respect her for that.

Let's agree to disagree, I am sick of the non stop media circus of the Aish-Abhi mania, it is ridiculous.
I detest the Media coverage of the Bachchan's countless trips to all the temples in India. Why on earth do they need cameras while performing their poojas? Mr Bachchan has lost his mind.
However, the daughter should not hated for the sins of her father. She deserves better.

no doubt AB is best but dear friend he should understand his responsibility. he has fame, money, respect but he shouldnt make misuse of that. what i think AB is irrelevalently promoting many brands. he is making big money from promotional campaigns. he should concerntrate on acting rather than ad campaign.

maybe ab is good in his category (whatever that may be) but Shah Rukh can't be categorised...he is brilliant at everything!
he gives very nice messages to children through his show KBC..always advises people to respect elders, do good things in life.
compare this to bacchan family one of the most hyped up, promoting useless govt. of uttar pradesh, not paying taxes, each one promoting the other through news channels...
beleive me srk has power that even if Gauri comes and hosts a show it will be successful purely because she is srk's wifeand people would want to know her opinions...but then srk will never do such cheap things

If Rediff took your advice, it would soon be counted with those non-descript websites that you 'stumble' on when you misspell your query in a search engine.
Rediff publishes such stuff because people want to read it. It's simply, demand and supply.
And why do people want to read this stuff? That's even simpler to answer: For the same reason people flock to see torturous atrocities like 'Hum Aapke Hain Kon", "Vivah".
So if you are looking for something "serious" and "meaningful", you shouldn't be here in the first place!!

Very well stated. Hope media understands. But the current media in India is driven by movie stars. THey would cover any news even if a dog of a movie star gets loose from his leash, than any current burning issues for the country.
