Winning some TV show seems like winning the Ms. World to her. She seems to be spending more time in UK, than in her so called 'mother-land' which she spoke of at length when she was so called 'abused'

agree with deepak....she just utilised the situation aptly!now she seems to be enjoying in the so-called 'racist' country!since racism is such a sensitive topic,the english ppl are helpless....and basically i think thts why she won big brother!the whole row on her abuse was anyways bull****!

Shilpa's a movie star, she's supposed (and allowed) to paint her face. Did you guys think angelina jolie doesn't paint her face? Or for that matter Beyonce Knowles? Black or White, How else do they get that uniform color on their face? Oh Come on y'all, Shilpa looks pretty and I wish her the best. All Hollywood stars have done tons of cosmetic surgeries and implants to look that great. So Don't go so hard on Shilpa just because she is a Desi.
To all Indians, We should not use the following words in our language : North India, North Indians, South India, South Indians,etc. We should instead use the words :northern India, northern Indians, southern India, southern Indians.

I can agree with this, to call as Indian instead of south india / north india. But i'm just wondering why there is some deviation in prices like petrol / desel between north indians and south indians? Why P.Chidambaram is not taking any actions for these kind issues... He should initiate to nullify this to make unity amoung us as Indians... Hope you all agree with this

Grow up!!! It would have been better if you had told them to use India or Indians rather that going in to point the grammatical mistake. BTW, it is north america and not noerthern america!!!

Use India only if you are n the US. Within India, it is always North, South, Mallu, Bong, Tamil, etc ...

KK is right. It's northern India and not North India (unless India has been divided into two different nations: North India and South India). North America is a proper name (of a continent), and so are North Carolina (state) and North Korea (country). But when you want to refer to a particular part of a region, you need to say Northern India. For example, Nepal is to the North of India, but Kashmir is in northern India. Similarly, Canada is in North America, and lies in northern North America. A simple reference to any grammar site or a quick discussion with an English language expert will tell you that the usage %u2018North India%u2019 is indeed incorrect.

Thanks KK and Vikram. I am an English teacher and always have a hard time explaining to students (and others) why the usage "North India, South India, North Indian, and South Indian" is wrong. You have put it so simply. Can you point me to some reference site where I can look for explanations on these and similar anomalies? Thanks in advance..
Guys, Baazigar was Released a Longg time ago... so if shilpa is looking Fairer now, its because she has applied a lot of Cream and done some cosmetic surgery also on her Nose etc..
She is South Indian and looks Gorgeous, Thats Awesome.... I just wish she gets Settled down with someone ... and have a decent Family Life...

I am proud being an Indian. Doesn't matter if Shilpa is from southern part. It is also very much Indian. We are all together and enjoy diversity. I like idli-dosa as much as I like paav-bhaji or chola-bhatura. We should be proud of our diverse culture and not offend others.

C'mmon man, just because of some idiots, don't start North South east west fights, Britishers are gone now and we are headed towards moon, so enjoy life, have fun. I personally think that south indian girls are very talented artistically, Bengali girls are equally talented, north indian girls are more courageous and bold, and Punjabi girls are most beautiful, then again it's just my point of view, at the end of the day, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.

Intelligence is relative term, even ants are intelligent enough to distinguish between salt n sugar. Hey Fardeen you are right, All southiis are dominated by their wifes he he he.........i hv sen this even in my family my jeeju is a southi.....but she is happy that way:)), n my jeeju also.
