One of the most standard plot devices in porn movies is to have a beautiful, surgically augmented hottie in a flimsy nightie prancing about, alone at home in a sunlit mansion, when in comes the %u201Cpizza man%u201D or the %u201Cgardener%u201D. And before you realize it, intense amorous action is initiated accompanied by passionate facial contortions and rapid locomotion of assorted body parts. The key to enjoying what follows is to suspend disbelief%u2014to accept without questioning that there is something about the pizza man or the gardener that makes women jump on him, without the exchange of even the minimum of pleasantries.

In "Aap Ka Surroor the Moviee", Himesh Reshammiya is that pizza-man. Not that he takes his clothes off%u2014though it has to be said he does show a disquieting amount of male cleavage. It's just that the moment he appears on screen women and even men, in Europe, go wild with lust/passion/love/devotion. Busty lawyers start going "Ali ali" and throw themselves at him. Every few minutes, someone utters a variation on "tum kitne famous ho". The promoter of his show exults: "Duniya ke sabse bade performer ho tum". The heroine says%u2014%u201DThere is nothing about you I do not like." The heroine's dad tells him: "Bahoot naam roshan kar rahe ho humara desh ka. You make us proud." As if that's not enough, the heroine tells her dad %u201CHe has no starry attitude. Koi dikhawa naheen%u201D. He does not drink, likes girls in salwar kameezes (presumably the only cleavage he likes is his own) and is beyond greed, lust or any of the vices we know of. By the way, he can also hack through security keypads using his Jedi music force.

bhai, hamein to yahi pata hai ki Sir Amitabh is the ruer of Bollywood. But yeah Amir is the best among all the Khan's.
Stuffed with songs, soaked with clichéd one-liners and saturated with Reshammiya's musical past, present and future, Aap Ka Surroor is a power-packed pain. A well-known singer HR is on a Germany tour, where he falls in love with Riaa, the PR manager of an event-management company. But if Riaa is the love of HR's life, HR is the love of many hearts. Ruby, a partner in the event-management company has many more proposals to offer to HR apart from the usual business! But wrapped within Riaa's love, HR snaps at Ruby and dumps her proposals, only to find himself accused of a murder later. Now for the climax. HR must prove himself innocent ASAP, if he wants to marry Riaa. All those who're looking forward to see the singer bud into an actor, the film is a definite put off. And all those who thought Himesh never sung well, i wonder what you'll say when you see him act! His dialogue delivery is amazingly awful. There are jerks and exclamations when he should sound calm and controlled and there is laughter when a slight smile would have spoken a lot more. Hansika is monotonous. She might have blossomed into a young lady but unfortunately her dimpled cheeks and sugary smile is too sweet to allow the oomph factor to seep in. The duo share a sad sense of chemistry and one thing which would leave you open-mouthed is the fact that whenever the couple strike a love note, the Gayatri Mantra begins in the background. And what's even more weird is that Himesh does his daily
The opening of this week%u2019s releases was affected by the extremely bad weather in the Mumbai/Maharashtara region. But even with the rain Aap Ka Surroor managed to hit the 75% mark while Apne was at a more modest 50% in the region.
Despite a bashing by the critics Aap Ka Surroor stunned the trade with its bumper opening in small centres across parts of the country with many centres showing 90% . The big cities and multiplexes were around 70% but that was still very good and took its first day all India average to around 75-80%. Whether critics like it or not Himesh Reshammiya has been accepted as an actor. The great opening was due to the great publicity, hit music and the curiosity to see Himesh act. The film has fair reports but how big a success it becomes will be decided depending on how it fares from Monday
