Iruvar was better then nayagan, but nayagan had the tamil scent, sivaji is rajini and talking about rajini he is all about heart and soul. None of the three films can be made in Hindi.

Rajinikanth

people who expect Rajini movies to respect laws of physics, why don't u guys buy a book and study. U didn't study properly when you were required to in schools and colleges and suddenly got enlightened in the theater watching a Rajini movie? what crap!Makers of a Rajini movie, his loyal fans or himself...none of them said they are going to make a ground breaking movie which will win a national award or oscar. Rajini delivers what he is supposed to, clean entertainment without much of blood, abusive language, obscenity etc. is that such a crime? We have kamal to do masterpieces.Whats the point in every film being the same ...realistic, thought provoking and an example of amazing histrionics! Variety is the spice of life guys! and those who talk about his colour, some of us maybe 'fairer' and some of us 'darker', but we're all non-white brown skinned indians. keep that in mind!

Rajnikanth turned down honor at IIFA
by Super Star on Jun 21, 2007 07:19 PM  | Hide replies

To all Northie M..... F...... who said Thalaivar was not invited to IIFA...
Our Thalaivar is great.....Read the facts

Though the IIFA awards ceremony at Yorkshire went off swimmingly, a little-known fact about the event is the reason behind non-presence of the Tamil iconic superstar Rajnikanth.

According to sources, Rajnikanth was offered a very special award at this year's IIFA for his tremendous popularity among Tamil-speaking audiences across the world. In fact the offer to receive this prestigious award was made by none other than the IIFA ambassador Amitabh Bachchan.

However Rajni who's always fought shy of awards and honors had to decline the offer. Says the Big B, "It's true we wanted to honor Rajnikanth at Yorkshire this year, but unfortunately he not could make it due to the release of Sivaji- The Boss. But we will someday, for he deserves many distinctions."

Make movies like this and it will give Fame to Tamil...not Craps
by Sasi UK on Jun 21, 2007 07:09 PM

Super hit movies and trendsetting movies are too many in Tamil cinema which is hard to count. But movies which are both super hits and trendsetters are few. One among them is Nayagan with the elite Kamalahasan as the protagonist and direction handled by the jubilant Manirathnam.

The decision to direct such an evergreen hit was taken in just few minutes. Kamalahasan called Manirathnam through the phone and requested him to direct a film which was to be remade into a Tamil film. With no intentions of directing a remake movie, Manirathnam told Kamal of directing a movie based on the life of Varadharaja Mudaliar, a dada in Mumbai (Bombay).
The stage was set for the movie%u2019s production and G.V. produced the film with Illayaraja getting into his tunes for the movie. Kamal%u2019s on screen name was Velu Naicker. The film was released during Deepavalli along with Rajinikanth%u2019s Manidhan. The movie turned out to be a super hit with collections breaking earlier records.

The movie is about a boy who runs away from a village in Tamil Nadu to Bombay after killing the cop who cunningly killed his father. The boy turns out to be a local dada in his youth, helping the suppressed and as time progresses he becomes a don.

His family, his arrest and his killings form the crux of the later part of the film.

The cast in this movie includes Saranya(debut), Janagaraj, Nizhalgal Ravi, Nassar(debut)and various top artists from Tamil and Hindi industry. The songs by Illayaraja were all everg

Nayagan is one among the three Indian movies and the only one Tamil movie which was listed in "Best 100 movies ever made" released by the Times magazine. The movie is still a memorable one and such movies need to be released in Tamil industry to bring the status of it to international level.
THESE TYPE OF MOVIES ARE BRINGING FAME TO TAMIL.

Rajeev Balakrishnan.

Where is the life ..... What is your image...watching the English movie like matrix and appreciating that for life long or watching the hindi movie skin shows and saying wow. Is that our image? Every persons beauty is measured on how they look the other people .u guys will always will look the color and hair. Not the character.
Dont believe the thing which grows up on top of your head , believe the thing which you have inside the head. I think you don%u2019t have one like that . I mean brain.
Respect talent and popularity, you cant even visualize the same fame in your next life also.

He is great to us.

If the Non-Logic movies of Rajani frequently fails in Box office, we may get a good sensible actor, Rajnikanth. The people support his Non-Logics and he repeats it.
Here in Kerala, whenever Top stars appeared with Non-Sense movies, keralites rejected them and Mammootty and Mohanlal will never dare to do it again. If mallus support such non-senses, we too will see Mammooty and Mohanlal in these type of crap. Audience will create the Actors and Stars...!!!

Wat did ur Hrithik and small B do in Dhoom 2.. its a brutal rape of story, logic and acting ..
coming from inside water and jumping above a big cruise ..hahhaha..
Hrithik acting like a statue and stealing a diamond.. how did he go inside and how he came out ???(wat a logic and story ??)
goes inside drainage with a old man getup and comes out with fresh water splashing and with a new dress with roller skates .. Where in the world fresh water is going inside drainage and he changed his dress, sunglasses, roller skates inside the drainage ....

Rajini is far far better than ur white pig bollywood heros ..
