Yash raj banner sucks. Gimmick this time again is not successful. the measleading promos are soon going to fall flat. the movie is sheer waste of the lead star cast. The director had completetly lost it. The movie more like a documentary. Only gloss no substance. Heart without soul. Complete waste of money. Even my kids were insistting on going home they were bored. Last 20 minutes though energetic looked liked nach baliye TV show.
This movie is not recommeded to be seen on silver screen sorry to dissapoint.

The movie is pathetic.....Its sheer wastage of time and money. The only good thing about it is the title song which is played many times at different, locations and good costumes.Rest is all shit.........Lara looks amazing, but abhishek .....seems like a lorry driver.

I can't fathom the audacity of the producer and director to bring out such a senseless film. I was dying for the movie to end. Sheer idiocy

PERFIDY PERSONIFIED faizal mohammed I can't fathom the audacity of the producer and director to bring out such a senseless film. I was dying for the movie to end. Sheer idiocy
I'm sure the role embedded to Bobby Doel could have been better played by Bobby DARLING!!Deol was better in first half, never expected such a downfall in his roll in second half. Abhishek is less of Punju accent than a Hyderabadi accent!!Mr.Shaad a flim doesnt run only by a bigg starcast...storyline is much needed...every picture cant be Bunty Aur Babli. Better luck next time

I am sure you have reasons for being angry , but lets all not forget that above all we are all Indians.
Just hate to see this B.. deol., God knows why the dir/producers go for the 2 deols (this B-boddy & that F-sunny)..., they S u c k Maybe they act free.
If discerning viewers care to dwell on Abhishek's demeanour and his persona sans the recently grown straggly beard, it is that of a sissy with a slight hunch and bovine eyes. Pumping iron has now become de rigeur for every male who has aspirations of becoming a hero in Bollywood. However the mere presence of built-up muscles and a rather puffed up torso does not necessarily make one an alpha male or a toughie. Poor Abhishek has unfortunately been pushed down that road by his redoubtable, scheming progenitor, the manipulative Srivastava Sr. (aka Amitabh Bachchan) who achieved great success & fame in his career by hamming it as the angry young & later 'not-so-young' man in a number of blockbusters during the seventies & eighties. As a result of the pressures of having to live up to this papa-manufactured image, poor Abhishek has to often resort to being loud or ends up grossly overacting. Someone would do him a world of good advising him to change course immediately rather than a doting Srivastava Sr. who keeps on reinforcing that he is on the right track.

Well said Abhishek Shrivastava, well said. Your assessment of Jr.Bachchan is bang on the money. Poor kid is always trying to catch up with his father's shadow. Reminds me of Uma Thurman's joke from "Pulp Fiction" - "Papa Tomato, Mama Tomato & Baby Tomato were walking down the street. Baby Tomato kept lagging behind. So Papa Tomato walked back, crushed him & said "Ketchup!"

The truth is whatever Abhishek did in this movie he is sussessful in that. He is the only best fit in this character of Rikki Thakral. Cannot think of anybody else. Poor no_name (nickname of truth to be told) has no guts to reveal his or her name and talkibg about Bachchans. Abhishekh had no pressure and acted with ease (i did not see any angry image in this film though) and lifted up the movie to a diffrent level. If you really want to say something about Bachchan's acting from 70s, 80s, 90s and on and on and on then come forward and tell us your name. If you have a face show it.

Looks like Abhishek, you have got your wires crossed too. My face is not the subject of discussion here or of the slightest interest to most readers. Abhishek's certainly is and that is what we are dwelling on here.

The lead msg stinks with personal dislike little to do with the film,i guess it must hav been sprung from religious diffenrce.Hey,mr truth why harp on bovine word,we hindus worship cow,ok.U dont like Bhachans,we got that.I doubt if u ever gonna appriciate them, even if they do oscar winning performances.

Satpathy, possibly Kalinga Samaj idolizes the Srivastavas (aka Bachchans) & has closely identified Abhishek with the Cow which you dutifully worship. Nothing wrong with that, if that's what gives you your high jinks be happy about it. As far as the movie & Abhishek's efforts in it are concerned read what over 200 other people have said by way of feedback and you'll realize why your love of the Srivastavas & Cows is standing in the way of realizing how terrible the movie is and how terrible Abhishek is as an actor.

Thought this deserves passing mention as well. In 'Guru' which has been praised to the skies by Srivastava Sr. (aka AB), Abhishek enacts the role of a supposedly canny, somewhat unscrupulous Gujarati businessman. Sadly, by the time the movie ends, the lingering impression you have of him is that of a 'Goru' (that everlasting & ultimate symbol of bovinity -- The Cow).
