I don't know what these guys were thinking of when they made this movie - seriously. It didn't make the remotest of sense, there was no story, crappy characters, sidey songs and what was with the title????? The title had NOTHING to do with anything in the shitty movie. What's happened to Yash Raj Films?? Ta ra rum rum was a compelte disaster as well. I think movies such as Metro and Dor are like a breath of fresh air!

Also, what was up with the funky costumes?? As the story, the costumes didn't make any sense either!!!!
How can the makers even 'think' that this kind of a movie is entertainment. Its a PUNISHMENT to watch it instead.

its a rubbish movie thanks god i got the tickets free of cost or else i would have gone mad buying tickects for this horrible movie
The basic thing is that Abhishek is one of the worsts actors of all time. I don't know how long he will ride on his father's fame. Even at award functions he cannot perform solo and requires either his dad or wife. As far as movie is conecerned its utter wastage of time energy and money. There is no story.Yash Raj Films is good only when Yash Chopra directs rest all is crap of Yash Raj Films. Amitabh should also act his age and should remember what happened when he worked in films like Jadugar and Toofan. Indian viewers are intelligent.
Movie starts with a bang..Amitabh rocks in the first 12 seconds & then.... 1. Abhishek's acting will embarass Ashwarya 2. Bobby Deol actys like a panzy artist inspite of the chic hair done...his comedy is bent back, big eyes slightly tilted and lost smile. 3. Lara dutta is classy clothes, beautiful body..but why was she casted? 4. priety zinta..cannot act, cant dance, looks aged, lousy figure & eve refuses to smooch Abhishek.
After the first 12 secs, every time Amitabh enters & sings (especially the exagerated laughter in the end, as if he is asking the public to emphathize with the director who tried his lousiest best to give some shape to the story line which was more of story scribble.
I am not saying the above in humour. The move is EXTREMELY pathetic.
Yash Raj Films should be ashamed of this movie. The fact that these actors agreed to act for such a story-scribble is....let it be. I write the above because if I take my parents to see a Amitabh bachhan film of yash raj banner I expect entertainment, class & maturity...but the movie turns out to be a wannabe slap(ping) stick & many time obsene & pathetically narrated junk.
The censor board should issue the next advertisement banner with the WARNING: WATCHING THIS MOVIE IS INJURIOUS TO THE REPUTATION OF THE ACTORS & THE BANNER OF YASH RAJ & YOU THE PUBLIC WILL BE HARMED AS BAD AS SMOKERS & IF YOU NARRATE THE MOVIE BACK HOME IT WILL SURMOUNT TO PASSIVE SMOKING.

1. This is one of the very bad films due to a number of reasons:
1. Abhishek over/less acts. He's able to act as a I_dont_care_about_anything guy. He's walking as if he's forced to do that. He should learn how to act and how to get into character. May be he can watch a few films from hollywood or some of the the films in malayalam to learn how to act.
2. Priety Zinta does not look pretty. She looks old and does not act at times. The kissing scene at the end was the worst ever kissing scene. It was looking like they were punished to kiss each other. What a boring scene!
3. 2 and half hour movie and a song for 30 mins.. huh????
4. Amitabh is wasted. He does not worth for dance and presence.
5. What was Shaad Ali trying to show with this movie? Total crap!
Only plus points: Bobby Deol and Lara Dutta. Unfortunately, they did not have enough to do in this movie.
Verdict: Poor
Abhishek should act in the movies of directors who are good teachers and can control him. eg:- Mani Ratnam and RGV
Abhishek hams and overacts..how long do we have suffer him. .Priety needs to do better roles..Lara with a hilarious wiig, but sexy legs.. Bobby with red hair..No story line,., YRF needs to come up with better stuff than this. Rope in the likes of KK, Akshaye Kumar, Irfan Khan... they will add more value to the banner. Hope Aamir and Hrithik combao in Aditya's next is true. YRF look into your script division please..
Truly speaking, movie has nothing good in terms of sense and material, but if you enjoy Govinda's movies for so-called-comedy, you can take this movie's second half for entertainment. First half is stinking. it wont leave you anywhere. What you can look for in the movie are - Amitabh's presence, a innovative and experimental photography, and only one song- Jhoom-barabaar-jhoom (because Amitabh appears in it). Lara Dutta has shown good improvement in role of Anaida, Abhishek left stains of overacting at places, Preity had no chance to act and she should stop choosing such roles otherwise she will stand nowhere near 2nd position after Raani. Bobby as usual was hopeless and rather he didnt have anything good to do either. In gist - 80% of the movie is not-tolerable. If you admire Amitabh madly, the rest 20% can cover some of your grief.
