Pleae re read the first few lines of the article "spotted percussionist Sivamani, and singers Vijay Yesudas and Naresh Iyer at an A R Rahman concert: - even if you are not familiar with them , you should have inferred that they are percussionist and singers.

I guess you have "limited-to-NO" knowledge of indian music-instrumental celebrities. Sivamani (or commonly known as "Madras Mani" or "Drums Mani") is the best known percussionist in India. He has been a considerable part of Maestro Ilayaraja's and A.R.R's success in the past 15-20 years.
One of Sivamani's popular drums performances happens to be for song "Rukhumani Rukhmani" in the movie Roja.
Vijay is singing legend K.J Jesudas's son (dont ask me who K.J.J is please). Although not as gifted as his father, Vijay is one of the rising young singers in south.

BY I dont know who is though i know YESHUDAS *( famous singer)...... yaar u itself mentioning here that this all people are famous in TAMIL INDUSTRY ( as u mention etc) so how come i know this all ? tell me ? As i am a Pure NORTH INDIAN GUY OF MUMBAI ...........I know AR RAHMAN but none of this artist.........and this is not lack of knowledge ........this is culture diversity..........

Thanks for all this information Well being a north indian i am not aware of any of this singers, yes A R RAHMAN is legend and every body in the world knew him,,,,,,,but no idea abt any of this singers ( Though i know Yashudas also but not familiar with his son )

and i really doubt if you are a north indian .. for that fact indian at all ... you must be from one of our neighbouring countries trying to create regional tensions .. Shame on you chappan tikali .. you dont deserve to be called Indian ... no matter north or south.
