well,bhiku mhatre is the biggest image of ur career.But,i surely believe that u lost lot more roles with the break up with verma.But,with ur own versatile talent,u will win a lot more good characters of ur liking.Even ur role in Telugu movie which u acted i.e. "Happy", is very good. Like to see u in aggressive roles like Shool,Satya. " All the Best "
Manoj, whatever said and done....Now you are a star !! But frankly speaking, before Satya People didnt even know you who you are and where you came from....But of Course they knew WHO Bhikhu Mhatre was !!! So never try and ignore that part of your life and career
I have seen and noticed Bajpai in Zubeida...Have not seen Satya or 1971 etc.. But I can say Bajpai is a supremely gifted actor one of the best in the class of an Om Puri, superior to Naseeruddin and yes I will see Swami on release.

Hi Bindu, Manoj Vajpayee acted superbly in Satya.He completely eclipesed the lead actor Chakravarthy (Satya) in that movie.
Infact, I miss Ashutosh Rana also very much since he did not do any movie past long times.

if you have not seen Satya, you have missed one of his best performances.He simply rocks and for mnay they remember Satya for his performance;though he was just playing the second lead in the movie.
Bhiku (Manoj) I see each of your movie and I must say I have liked most of them except Dil pe maat le yaar and the movie with Shetty sister. I loved you in 1971, Pinjar, Satya, Shool etc. I am sure Ramu is the culprit. He has had problems with all the upright persons. First he had problems with Aamir and then with you. I want to see you with Aamir in one movie. Both of you are great actors. It will be a gift to serious movie watchers like me. Wish you all the best and looking forward to all your movies.
Shool was Manoj's best work. Even after a decade and more since the release of the movie. If you watch it today you can feel the intensity of his portrayal of the non-glamorous honest cop the hilt unlike any other actor. He in league of great actors like Om Puri in art movies and Amitabh in Commercial movies. If he lacks anything it is inability to be as glamorous as say Rithik or Sharuk or as versatile as legendary Sanjeev Kumar. But than every Dog has his Bone and Manoj is top dog of most roles he chooses to portray in commercial as well as arty movies.

Manoj, you just cannot deny that satya was your biggest milestone in your career. Whatever problems u had with Ramu, you just can't get away with your past. I have been watching all your movies and i persoanlly feel the only character that suited you to the T til date was "Bhiku matre".
