Hope he won't get up after hitting that Lamppost so that we won't get to see the more movies like Nishabd & Chinikum. We are fed up of his antics of calling himself a "Farmer" and getting acres of land. He faces the allegation that he misrepresented facts to receive the benefits by calling himself as Farmer.He is so active in making lots of money and promoting his son and the Bachan brand. At this age, he should have been active in doing charities and doing something for the needy. What the hell he is going to do with so much money? Why he has become so mean and selfish? Once upon a time, i used to be a fan of Amitabh Bachan, but not anymore. I thought he was a man of POOR. Now he is showing his true colors, like his politician friend, Amar Singh. Mr. Bachan, if you cannot do anything good for the society, atleast don't do anything bad. Please be a role model for rest of the country. We still have immense respect for you, please don't spoil your name further. Your image has already been tarnished, don't do further damage to it.

Guys..do not forget that Amitabh is just an actor. We respect him for his acting and the way he carries himself. Tell me single person in Bollywood who is so successful. See the variety of roles he has played in last 2-3 years... Black, Waqt, Baghbaan, Cheeni Kum, Nishabd, Aankhein, KANK, Bunty aur Babli. At 64 he is rocking, the variety, the range of his acting and performance is absolutely fabulous. What he is doing at 64, some of our current so called Superstars cant even think of.
Reg: land dealing what is the big deal about this politicians & builders are looting everywhere. He has just bought land whether as a actor or farmer? He has paid money and bought it. What is big deal about it?

ofcourse he is a fine actor.but being such a dignified person and commanding such respect in return requires him to act correspondingly.he is not behavin and has never behaved as a good citizen.always ran frm his citizen responsibilties.he is just an actor,off and on screen.not worthy of the attention he is seeking.his sugar coated words and freinships with the anti-socials like amr sigh and mulayam only degrade his image more.he must understand so many people look upto him and he is makin wrong moves in all directions....this man is all for money..

I agree with what you said. As ACTOR, he is truly a legend. But he has no business to take a former's land by paying peanuts. It is cheating and there is no justification. Ordinary people look up to him but don't care about Amar Singh unless one is in politics. For him to do that is greedy. One thing I don't understand is how people do such stuff to make few bucks and put all their life long hardwork at stake --- it simply doesn't make sense

When was he ever a role model? Maybe for the likes of Mulayam Singh & Amar Singh. Hats off to him for picking up a pseudonym his Dad used and converting it into the family name. Way to go Mr. Amitabh Harivansh Srivastava.
