Aerosmith who?
by Thiaga Sivanadyan on Jun 05, 2007 02:54 AM  | Hide replies

Only in India do we have such a ardent following for yesteryear's stars. Come on people, old buzzards in Aerosmith should not be able to command such a ridiculous price for their shows.

Going by your logic, we should not go to R.D.Burman or Ilayaraja concerts right?

How can you calculate aerosmith's worth in terms of money?! They nourish the soul! Sigh!

I was there for the concert. I am an heavy metal and rock fan. I am around 40 years old. I have been to some concerts in India ( not that I have gone abroad and attended conerts). This aerosmith concert was bad. The reason was not that the show was bad infact show was excellent. those people had no audio enough for the crowd. Though I was in the front area paying the high price I could not hear them. I bloddy went to listen to them and not for the crowd all I coudld hear was the crowd. somebody tried to save some bucks and there was no sound at all honestly it was pathetic for an ordinary listeners like us. Of course everybody will swear by great show. It was not. What the heck when u could not hear the real sound.

Sorry for the rest of the fans if you think u had good time. It may be because of the crowd or
the feeling of girl friends or girls

that is all

Dubai Concert

The Aerosmith concert just before Bangalore was organised in Dubai - this one sucked. The company arranging it i.e. Mirage Promotions did a lousy job in arrangements. Beer stalls were so crowded - even after standing in lines for 2 hrs people got hot beer cans as their draught beer machines concked off. How can one enjoy a show after such gruesome queqeing and no beer !!!

it's the crowd/population ...all that causes!!!!
It's just not at the concert, anywhere u go...as long as in India...
Truely Bangalore is getting toooooo much crowded day by day...though it's getting extended ...
Great place, great city....so as the crowd

It is sucha a pity that the Political Capital of this country hardly ever gets these kind of concerts... last good concert that i remember was of Bryan Adams and only Mumbai and Bangalore are the places where these Concerts are held... Somebody please tell these Event Organisers that people in Delhi do understand English and if you hold a concert in Delhi of the Legends like Aerosmith and other bands, we will have the maximum turnout, more than what happens on the polling day....
