you are wrong man. Shivaji had a gr8 opening, but it dint last 30 days. Check nowrunning.com for details.
Right now it runs in one centre in trivandrum. In kochi, calicut it was changed before one month.
Only tamils and youth see rajni, vijay movies. No women or family come for a tamil movie..
But i think mani rathnam movies and early shankar movies did have a good merket (maybe 50days)

u r right. Even in trivandrum it was removed after 30 days but it was brought back to a small thatre on its 50th day to show that it ran for 50 days. What a pity. God saves its Kerala distributor who spent 3 crores. So Biggest Hit of Malayalam Cinema this year was Superstar Rajni's 'Sivaji' is the joke of the millenium. One thing can be said, after the colossal flop of aba, when the great Rajini was out of sight and out of mind it was our Manichitrathazhu which came to the rescue of this great Superstar. So bear it in mind before writing such mindless things in this forum. Have a nice day.

Dude we are from kerala. We know more than the shankar from one india dot com which theatre shows which movie.. shivaji got changed in 30 days.
And dont tell me it got shifted bcoz it was house full.
By the way why did u change from palani. if u need to change dad's again, i will suggest rajni.

dear senthil plz dont ever dare to compare the developments in kerala with that of tamil nadu. ther is nothing sensible in doing so becaause it will take atleast 50 more years for tamil nadu to have as much development as in kerala

There u go again. The pea brain that u r. Thinking that media is the bible. Well let me tell u one thing. Tickets were available within one week of release of this Big Hit eventhough it was running in a single theatre in TVM. Now I have seen this with my eyes. You have only read things from some stupid sites. So which is authentic? I remind u - pea brain, again - Chandramukhi ( the film that saved ur Rajini from a desaster) is a shameless copy of not one but two malayalam films - Manichitrathazhu and Aram thampuran. Now the shameless director didnt even acknowledge and went on saying its his own. Now Mr Pea brain, if u have any shame left in u, its ur turn to wear Sarees and blouse and bangles. Bye Pea brain. Hope God will give you some more sense.

So what is ur great Chennai culture? Calling a neighbouring state in your country - an "underdeveloped state" just because of an argument about a movie? Great culture indeed. Mr Chennai culture, bear in mind our states belong to the country called India. If our state is underdeveloped so is yours because we all are part of India. U moron. Almost all latest tamil movies are remakes of Malayalam movies. Tamil movie industry is at suicide point now by lack of scripts and good stories. Now they depend only on cartoon gimics of 75 yr old Rajnikanth. I dont think that he can survive any more. In a nutshell we can say that next decade of Tamil movies will be a "REMAKE DECADE". This brainless Senthil Pandi cannot understand that. grow up man.

Biggest Hit of Malayalam Cinema this year was Superstar Rajni's 'Sivaji'. Ha ha ha. This 'biggest hit' was released in TVM in 4 theatres and eventhough the opening was good, this 'biggest hit' was reduced to one theatre in one week and tickets were available without any reservation. And the latest is this 'biggest hit' was removed from that one theatre soon after it completed 25 days (tactically it was brought back to a small theatre on its 50th day after release). God save the distributor of this 'biggest hit' who spent 3 crores on it. This is fact. So just come out of ur dream. The biggest hit of Malayalam can never br a mindless crappy film of Rajini.
