Though the story looks good that SRK is working in a SCi fi movie and not his regular masala romantic stuff, only time will tell whether this is a hit formula given the fact SRK audience continues to love him in the same formula films and India has not hit it big time with Sci- fi movie leave a Koi Mil Gaya here and there. Wishing him all the best anyways.

Well, in Malaysia's News Straits Time and Stars mentioned that SRK immediately hunt for Shankar's next project.. Before that, the project was meant for either kamal hassan and hrithik roshan..

Hehehe,.. how many national and Asian awards did SRK won?? Have u view on awards acheived by kamal hassan?? Every single indonesian, malaysia, singapore and thailand know him much better than SRK.. Kamal Hassan either choose or produce quality movies.. Just that, he is busy with these two high promising also among most expensive tamil movies..
After directing some good actors in lead, Shankar must have considered it as a challenge to direct chimp in the lead role.... hence the new project with srk.

Obviously all of you don't understand the quality of movie making. if you really knew most of the new bollywood movies are a remake of the tamil movies and telugu movies which the bollywood actors and directors claim to get 'INSPIRED' from (be it from south or Hollywood). Basically Bollywood lacks originality and they need these so called 'inspirations' by copyin the story lines from other people.

Rishi is correct, atleast 25% of the movies made in Hindi are remakes of Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam movies. We have to understand onething though, South India is still India! So why are we even fighting with each other? Why cant we accept that Bollywood belongs to South Indians as much as the rest of the country. Its a different thing other regional movies are not as popular as South Indian movies, but there are good movies made in Bengali and other languages. So, lets try and be an Indian, not a South or non-South Indian! Jai Hind!!

Hey Srinath you forgot to add kannada also. Of recently the so called bollywood magicians just copy the south flicks and forget to give credit. Be it Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam , Tamil.

comeon rajesh grow up. This ciggis tossing, jumping from buildings, villans flying after getting 1 punch is just kids stuff i saw it in bollywood 10 years back, its just special effects. Thats y tamil cinema is far behind from bollywood n hollywood. Stop living in the ice age and explore the truth.

Please don't insult chimp by comparing with SRK.. Best part is that the producer cum director of Anancondas 2 directed an English movie with Rajni long time ago (not mistaken if da title is bloodstone).. Whereas, international indian director doing their best to raise hindi actors to international film market.. Tragic huh..
Also, not sure if munnabhai is going to be made in english version but for sure, that Kaaka Kaaka to be made in hollywood version with 4 hollywood producers bring in ideas of russian cops (tamil version : acp - cop) and chechnya terrorist (tamil version : wanted criminals)..
Ohya, off course with bollywood which is known to others for so-called inspiration of others movies rather than admiting with 80% ~ 100% copying, is going to make it in hindi version starring fardhen khan..
Besides that, Ghajini is to be remade into hindi with actor, Amir Khan..
