Shankardada(2) might be a good movie but it did not attract the audience. I repeat Shankardada(1) had a good opening but the collections fell rapidly. IT IS MENTIONED EVEN IN THE LINK U HAVE GIVEN. Read it properly:

Vasool Raja was in Box Office No.1 position for about 6 weeks and in Top 10 for close to 100 days. It did not have any big opposition in the box office and hence became a real "Vasool" hit. Even some of my telugu speaking friends agree that ShankarDada(1) was an average hit and (2) is a very bad flop. So whats ur problem? Why do u create a rift between Telugu and Tamil friends here?

Chiranjeevi's latest film Shankar Dada Zindabad is a washout and is classified as his biggest box office disaster. His wife Surekha is likely to produce Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy(tentatively titled film on Rayalaseema's first freedom fighter against the British) as Chiru's 150th film. For the people who didnt watch LRMB this is indeed a very good movie...In chennai which is a tamil state this movie is doing extemely well (released in telugu in 4 theatres)...
In andhra it is running very well and it will continue to run well as this is a class movie and family people wil like it...
I appreciate chiru for doing such kind of class movies eventhough they doesnt suit his image...
This shld be a lesson to rajini who do circus movies like Sivaji...Only graphics...

The Reason is because Chennai has a good Sizeable telugu speaking people and not because of the quality of hte film
writers didnt even tried to create some humor with dialogues. same dialogues have been translated and nothing else.who ever watches the hindi movie will definetly get bored and even confused with the movie. they could do a better job but they didnt.it is just above a flop movie.

If u dont like plz dont see...This movie is for Class people...Chiru fans might be disappointed as no MASS touch in this movie..But this is a clean family movie where no exposing .. unnecesary fights etc...
If u dont see LRMB this is indeed a good movie...if u see it might not be, as u will try to compare with original every frame...
I really appreciate Chiru for doing such kind of family and class movie with such a HUGE larger than life image...
