I agree with whatever views been put here..II is a third class show where you wil get everything except singing..contestants are jokers and take utmost care to look good ..and to hide hopeless singing..judges make no sense particularly alisha ..God knows wheather she know any music.. hopeless
Indian Idol is nuthing but a cheap gimmick show...no talent, only drama...not one of them can sing properly and i am sure none of them posses quality to enter Bollywood...even i can sing better than them...sony only concentrates on marketing its stuff...but tell me who remembers 2nd Indian Idol??...no one, thats the truth...if you prefer gimmickery over talent, it won't last... Zee Saregama has immense talent...i have become fan of Amanat, Aneek, Raja and Mussarat and I am sure they are here to stay...man, they make your heart melt, they are that gud...trust me...all of them would definitely make it to Bollywood...i am hugely impressed by them (and I tell you I am not easily impressed)...even Star Voice of India is also churning very gud talents...both of these shows are much better than Indian Idol...wud request everyone to judge for themselves...

totally agree! star and zee shows have much better singers on display. indian idol is fraud, the last 2 winners are anything but "idols" today. totally unlike american idol, which churns out grammy winners year after year.

Chillar sahab...u have got the whole concept of discussion board wrong...we have put our point of view as this is what is supposed to happen on discussion board...no one is forcing anyone...thats why i said "wud REQUEST everyone to judge for THEMSELVES"...i guess it didn't go into your thick brain...
i think indian idol has bcum a gimmick....instead of generating talented singers its jst a drama series these days. theres hardly any talent its jst pure drama. they shd learn sumthin frm zee's sare gama. atleast that show gives gud playback singers to our film industry. whereas in indian idol apart from abhijeet sawant no 1 has made it big!!!!

Absolutely right! Not a single guys/Gal is a performer or a singer, all are rubbish. And look at the judges line up, Idoits like Anu malik, Alisha and udit! Javed atleast has some sense of music. Sony should stop this crap from next year and follow Zee and Star, look at teh talents in saregama and star voice of india, it becomes difficult to decide who is the best!!
