Rediff is so scared like some readers here. Chak De is actually sandwiched between 2 mega hits this year. Partner and Hevy Baby. Sorry rediff and SRK fans!! SRK can never be a hit or a good actor just by writing some nonsense here. I just saw indiafm and boxoffice india and found how media hypes SRK. You will notice all other films boxoffice india gives almost double earnings in rupees (crores) for some type of calculation of their own. for example : PARTNER in indiafm - 30.50 and boxofice is 58.52 APNA in indiafm - 9 and boxoffice is 27 AAP KA SUROOR in indiafm - 14 and boxoffice india is 18. Funny thing is only Chak de matches in both the sites with 20 crores. Something fishy in Taran Adarsh's site.
It will be difficult for him in the next 1-2 years. He is already looking tired and old. In India you can market yourself with publicity this can pull him for another couple of years.

You think you can do better than SRK?... You are not even in the league to be considered. And what is this nonsense about age showing on him. I thought it is talent and not youth that we need to look at in actors'. Amitabh is far far far older and is still doing ok. So SRK should be doing better as he is far younger. He does not use Botox like all the others.So stop acting like a judge or even a critic.

What??? Amitabh is far far older and doing ok??? What does it mean by OK. If he is doing ok then SRK is no where even doing poor. First you understand what is the meaning of OK, then reply.

There is no point in comparing SRK and Amitabh. I agree its the talent we are looking for and not age. Every actor has had good and bad times including Amitabh.SRK is a talented actor but needs to delve into more character roles like Chakde India! After all it greatly depends on the role you do to reflect the true actor and the charisma in yourself..Cheers!!
I am very sure that Chak de is copy of the hollywood flick "A League of Their Own" in which tom hanks is base ball coach for girls team. or may be chak de is inspired by that movie, but not original...I am not sure.. lets wait and see...I hope it to be orignal, otherwise I am sick of these bollywood director saying movie to be original but keep lifting plot or screenplay and sometime word to word copy of foreign movies..

I absolutely agree with you G2. I saw the promos. They so inspiring, SRK as the coach, girls hockey and all. Finally SRK is looking his calibre in this movie. The first wholly sports film that too on girls sports, I hope people go out and watch. If they do it properly I can forgive YRF for all those nonsensical mushy candy flosses they have been churning lately.
Finally Indian Film Industry is moving away from love triangle and slowly making Inspirational movies...Swades was one such movie..now Chak De..sounds inspirational. still its long way to go... thanks to public who now wants something other than pyaar, family drama, etc...
