Its true that voldemort dies which had to happpen anyway.But the people who will actually die are Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia.Their death is final line of the book.Some other facts about the final book are 1)Harry and Ginny and Ron and Hermoine get married to each other 2)Harry has a son named James after his dad. 3)Harry himself is one of the Horcruxes of Voldemort but he doesn't die, he creates one of his own through the golden snitch.His good soul stays with him while the bad soul of voldemort within him is turned into a horcrux through the golden snitch.

That itself shows your dumb maturity. It has been stated that Harry potter is children's book. But the way Rowling illustrated several dense situation in a very simple way has got on hugely with grown ups also. That is why it such a popular franchise. Sometimes macking imaginations run bizarely can also be helping.

My dear friend, I never comment on rediff forums, for the sheer ignorance and foolishness that most of those who comment display. But this time, I am commenting.
If you never have read a Potter book, please refrain from saying something foul about it. And if you have and still not understood that Potter books are precious, not for the magic and fantasy but the excellent philosophy that they are filled with, I don't have much to say. I know too many people who show remarkable pride in not understanding good things, and yet always give voice to their opinion.
And this same message is for the thousand of SO-CALLED Potter fans. I know all too well that only 0.1% of the Potter fans truely understand the books and why Rowling wrote them, though all of these people have read the HP books.
And please note that I equally despise people who say that Potter books are the ONLY good books ever written. That's just as bad as saying that Rowling is a very poor writer.

Alright now, let me tell u these 7 books wat JK Rowling has written is just UNIQUE of its kind........and very rare.PLEASE NOTE that it does'nt mean other books r not all that unique..........EVERY BOOK OR EVERYTHING IN NATURE HAS ITS OWN BEAUTY.....one is required to understand this fully well before criticising..........and as a writer JKR truly deserves credit......im not a fan of a hero called harry potter but more a fan of Rowling as a novelist.. i should say that she has created a class on her own........

one word rings true there - mature. As a 42-year old reader of classics and good literature, I put foward the opinion that these books are nice, but childish, and really over-rated. For a more qualified opinion, read this http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/07/13/AR2007071301730_pf.html. Now pardon me while i get back to reading the illegal image book. I also plan on spending all of sunday reading the real book. And i LOVED Luna Lovegood in the movie. Too cool. Hey, I used to smoke some time back too... knew it was bad but just couldn't help it :-)
