baat cheet ki zaroorat hai yaar.. hindi tho mallu jaise hai naa... ukso kua ka mendak hi rahne do...wohi behtar hai
I dont think compared to Mohan Lal kamal is better.Kamal's performance in Nayakan was the most hyped one.That is his worst performance.In a situation when Kamals character realising that is his son is no more,kamal handled that situation very worstly and boringly.Even critics write very poor note on that.
If you watch Mohanlal's performance in Baratham the same situation (brother's death)he handled that situation such a natuarally and convincingly even kamal cannot dreamed abt that.
Kamal become popular only becuase of his magnum opus type of movies thru which he is getting the support of international quality make up man and technicians.

OK WHAT WAS KAMALSLAST FILM IN HINDI AND WHEN WAS IT RELEASED? IT WAS RELEASED AS OLD AS 1987- A GOOD 20 YRS BACK EXCEPT EK DUJE KELIYE AND SAGAR(RISHI KAPOOR WAS THE HERO)ALL OTHERS WERE A FLOP IN HINDI. AND HE ACTED IN LESS THAN 10 MOVIES IN HINDI, WHICH I THINK IS A TRIVIAL ACHIEVEMENT.

kamal is the actor who always doing the same. means he cannot do rajnikaths role. but for mohanlal these two stages of acting belong his natural part of his ability and attitude.Most of the hindi movies acted by kamal hasan is directed and produced by himself.If we are considering kamal hasan films(anpesivam,hey ram),his acting going vulgourous or going overacting stage to prove that he is doing better. But watching people are not fool, so that the above two films are a big flops of there time.I f considering mohanlal role in company no body cannot tell that he is acting , but we can see the a better police officer in screen.

Kamal is just pure hype. He did some decent roles early on in his career, but starting with Appu-Raaja he is only obsessed with makeup. Someone needs to tell him and his fans that looking different isnt the same as good acting.
From the response of non-malayalees out here, it seems that Shakeela is more popular outside Kerala than she in Kerala.
It can be due to the fact malayalees themselves may not watch it but for non- malayalees these soft porn movies made with shoestring budget is better in quality than their mainstream movies.
so no surprise they lap it up which are rejected malayalees. So it is to malayalees credit that their soft porn movies are much better their mainstream movies.
so Do not even dare to compare mainstream malayalam cinema with your crap movies. malayalam is in a class of its own
Rediff guys, wake up. I know you guys opened up this forum format to encourage discussions, healty discussions. But SEE what is happening! Irrelevant messages, hate messages, insults to different communities.... what is happening? And why are you at Rediff keeping quiet about it? Why dont you have a moderation team or something like that? This is outrageous. This discussion should have been about Mohanlal, his greatness as an actor and Malayalam Cinema. What has it turned out to be? A hate game between Tamilians and Malayalees. And people, whats wrong with you guys? Forget the rediff employees, aren't you sane enough to realize what you are doing? Can't even be at peace with your next door neigbours huh? With so much hate in the world, do we really need more hate? I mean, look at this.... Indians cannot tolerate Indians. What a SHAME!
