As such here is a singer who despite the publicity is nowhere near the legendary Mohd Rafi. Imitating songs is easy, but over the years Sonu with his own songs has not been able to create 1/10th the magic that Rafi would have created. He is overhyped. Sonu Nigams will come and go but Rafi Saab will live forever.
Once upon a time we gaped at our public figures and / or celebrities in awe; now we study every stratch, scar, nip, tuck and abrasion.
We name names with impunity.
No situation is too small or insignificant for us to look at closely.
If the stars chose to be in the public domain then so be it. Like Mountbatten even 60 years later ... warts and all ... let it all hang out.
In this case even if this is just a Journo who wants to get up close to Sonu and Sonu (because he has put his past firmly in the past) doesn't want anything to do with him; Sonu -- since he is in the public domain -- will have to let it all hang out of the washroom windows or we will barge in through the doors.
What's more as 'consumers' of the resulting, articles, books, plays, movies, videos and photographs -- that's us -- we are not primarily looking to be entertained or transported. We're just looking for data, more and more data, the more raw the better.
And who cares whether there is truth or not or that whether, today, it hurts some of them -- or all of them -- or not!
TOTALLY STUPID!Now I firmly believe that Sonu Nigam is having character akin to his feminine look. He seems to be afraid and humiliated by alleged sms ostensibly from a gay. Or may be it is his inner desire to have such an sms.
