Let Mohanlal act the roles of Mamootty like Amaram, Vadakkan Veeragadha, New Delhi, Yatra, Nirakoot, Raja Manickam, etc. etc. Mohanlal "Appi Idum" mone. ============================ Ok. Just try acting out the role he did in Kireedom, Manichitrathazhu or Bharatam. You won't be able to do it in a thousand re-births. Accept the talents and credentials and artists before commenting on the looks. If good looks is your taste, I suggest you go watch fashion shows.

Hey M RM MRM....something.. back again with supporting mallus?? you were supporting SRK on one day and on the other day Rajini.. probably you have 7 days for 7 languages..
First of all I only pity the north Indians and some tamils on their IQ level for pointing their finger at Mammooty or Mohanlal.
There are a lot issues faced by Malayalam film industry compared to hindi or Tamil. The main being that it has a small market and it cannot make big budget movies like hindi or Tamil.
But still Malayalam film makers puts in a lot of effort to make the best Indians movies despite this handicap of having the budget constraint. It has the finest actors Mammooty or Mohanlal as their Superstars- which industry can claim this?
Malayalam are the best in the country anyway and if Malayalam had a bigger market, our films would have been of lot better.
Shame on hindi, Tamil, telugu industries which has a bigger market and can afford big budget movies but turns up with crap always.
So do not even dare to compare Malayalam movies with other movies in the country- which will be disgrace to Malayalam movies which are in a class of its own.

Well said.. The malayalam films faces a lot of problems, as u had said......the people from Tamil & North should remember some facts 1, After Rajni's Disasterous film BABA he opted to remake malayal, fil, MANICHITRATHAZHU Which was made as CHANDRAMUKI 2,Number OF THE Hits in Hindi had reduced drastically, If there had been a hit there will be a malayalam remake or mostly atamil remake... 3. Directors like RamgopalVarna, Priyadarsan & maniratnam is from south... There will be very few directors which r recognised other than abov said who r recognised 4.Mammootty & Mohanlal r not the only talented actors in malayalm, ther r so many... (tilakan, nedumudivenu, .....)

Malayalam Movie are very slow and not at all commercial. Almost 90% percent of the movie are art type which is very much boring. Only 10% percent of the movies are commercial type. Their stories are good but picturisation is poor and direction is also pathetic. Only two actors are good in Malayalam movie mohanlal and mamooty. They do not invest any amount for movie and produce low quality movie with good script but what is the use. When the movie is so slow and not watchable for average audience.

hi calvin, heard u were just out of the mental asylum...take medicines regularly ok...dunno worry ...everything will be alright....
I feel that this movie as it is, is the best that could happen. I also read the report about SIT chief of Tamilnadu who has been shown as the prime reason for not catching him alive - due to the delay in giving orders. Poor SIT Chief, he was stooping his head when his junior under command officer was bullying him (the climax). Does it happen this way???? in forces????
It is a fact that both Mammootty and Mohanlal carry a lot of extra fab. Just like our average junta (more so, North Indian junta). What is the problem in being realistic. Should visual art imitate hindi heroes and heroins who have no resemblance to the people of hindi heartland? All those hindi heroes look like average south Indians, well built, well dressed with less flab. I am not talking of complextion, we all know about the Northies love for the fair skin, so the poor actors are always on with a face pack!
