Omkara is based on "Othelo"..not original stuff...check this link now...http://specials.rediff.com/movies/2007/jul/11slide1.htm
how many lift offs from hollywood...atleast in tamil all that MASS is original and not copied...further those movies are for the C section audience...they are all illitrate so they watch...the real slick classy movies are also made...check out Paruthiveerean/Kadhal/Khaka Khaka/Mozhi/Periyar/Kamal's movies/vikram's moives/Surya's movies...comparitvely tamil movies are doing a great job and has lot more talents...hindi has some top quality actors/actresses but no talented directors/technicians...further hindi film industry has talents from all over india but tamil industry has only regional talents...with that they are really doing a fantastic job...one thing i wish to see in future is hindi/tamil movies getting dubbed in tamil/hindi and becoming very successful...i dont believe in these cultural differences...when an english movie can do pretty well y not our own movies?...quality should never be compramised based on region/religion/language etc etc...
Arabu Naade song is just mind blowing...initial lines are in Urdu not hindi...thats y the 2nd line of the song is Urdu kavinan Omar Khayam-in kavidhaiya nee...
YSR is really doing a great job nowadays..doing a lot of movies and churning out good tunes...i wish to see him in Hindi soon...

Yuvan belongs to tamil. He is the son of our beloved land. Tamil is where he belongs. He might go to english or other forieign languages but we would never allow him to be in hindi.

i also wants to c him in Hindi Movies.he sould give music in super star Rajni sir,Kamal sir, vijay sir movies.if he does good music also rediff is not giving good certificates.one hindi movie this year with sharukh or salman
Where the hell are music reviews of other language movies??? Why only tamil films? If rediff doesnt have any reviewers, I am sure they can invite readers to do the review. In any case, they do a better job than rediff reviewers!!!!
There have been some real good music coming from kannada industry... but for rediff, movies start and end with tamil...

Kanada Films, Telegu Films, Malayalam Films should all be considered part of Tamil Industry as whole so that they can be protected from Northie influence. That way they can access a pool of superhit supoerstars, music directors, director, actors from Tamil Nadu. Anyway, Kanada Movies are extinct. Biggest Hit in Telegu films till date is 'SIVAJI' Malayalam films are still stuck with two aged fat stars from 70's

How do you know Tamil Movies are waste and songs are crap. You would know that only if you are a regular viewer of Tamil Cinema. Assuming you are one of those ungrateful Telugu hypocrites who watches Tamil movies dubbed in Telugu , without fail and then calls them waste and crap, Please stop watching Tamil movies and stick to your NTR wannabes....
