we have gone bankrupt over ideas to make films...and though hollywood has its share of cheesy, typical films...it can make atleast a few good films - and we just wanna copy them !
this movie of course is a copy of "3 men and a baby"....the salman khan-govinda film partner looks like an "inspiration" from will smith-starrer "Hitch"...and am sure we'll have countless films like these...
the worst movie was "humko deewana kar gaye"...which had the jokes, scenes and stories lifted from atleast 5 diff. films, including the most idiotic adaptation ever of the car-wreck scene from "Crash"..
my only interest in new hindi movies remain courtsey ppl like nagesh kukunoor and ashutosh gowarikar..otherwise we have nothing but sad copy-cats !

" the germ of the idea came to me after seeing my friends...." wat crap!!! the movie is direct lift of the big hit of the 80's " Three men and a baby" .... tom selleck and steve guttenberg are sajid khan's friends???? in his dream... these people harp about originality and then copy films..in fact if one would remember then sajid used to host a show called kehne mein kya harz hai..and used to show how hindi films are copied from english films...and now his name should feature really high on the list....

Sajid is definitely lying.Has come up with a copy after making fun of all directors in his shows on tv."3 men and a baby" is definitely his source ,and there is also a Malayalam film on the same story.And,he is talking of his friends.

Precisely my thoughts....
Not only is Sajid lying through the teeth he is making a fool out of himself much like he used to for others. It is surprising that at this age of information exchange, he plans to get away from the fact the movie he copied from is a decently popular movie.
But fact is - he knows, he is going to get away with his earnings from the oblivious- thanks to simplle maths of our population. And that is all that will matter too. Watch out for "Oh, is there a film like that, I didnt realize and have never seen the movie..."!

Ridiculous!!!All that happens in Hindi movies these days is rip off from other languages...3 Men and a Baby was remade in Malayalam as Thooval Sparsham and now it comes in Hindi as Heyy Baby!!Remaking is fine-as long as it's done properly n admitting it's a remake!!!! Give the originals some credit!!!
