For Question 2, the right answer is 'His Family'.
Dumbledore was deflecting from the truth, when Harry had asked him the question.
Rowling had already said so in her interview...

by Charan Chaupal on Jul 09, 2007 05:03 PM  | Hide replies

no information has ever been quoted about voldemort's wand except that it has phoenix core coming from fawkes. so, how can you say that it's length is 13.5 inches. can you quote the book from where you have gotten this information.

yup.. abhishek is right.. it is in de first book - chapter 5 : DIAGON ALLEY.
here's how it goes:

ollivander: "I remember every wand I've ever sold, Mr. Potter. Every single wand. It
so happens that the phoenix whose tail feather is in your wand, gave
another feather -- just one other. It is very curious indeed that you
should be destined for this wand when its brother why, its brother gave
you that scar."
Harry swallowed.
"Yes, thirteen-and-a-half inches. Yew. Curious indeed how these things
happen. The wand chooses the wizard, remember.... I think we must expect
great things from you, Mr. Potter.... After all, He-
Who-Must-Not-Be-Named did great things -- terrible, yes, but great."
