All actors have given a good performance, particularly Daisy Bopanna, she has acted very well. As usual, comedy by Komal is excellent. Technically movie is very good , particularly in some of the songs the special effects used are too good. Ramesh as an actor and the director of the movie has done a decent job. Overall a good comedy movie.
one sivaji doesnt make Tamil film industry g8. Even in Tamil only 10 out of released 100 movies per year are good movies. The rest 90 are crap. The ratio holds good for telugu, hindi and malayalam as well. Kannada film industry is nowdays improving with total collections touching 50 crores for Mungaru Male and 20 crores for Duniya. But agree that Tamil industry is bigger but not better one
...of tamil, mal, and telugu movies!..they are so afraid that they will resort to POLICING TO stop people from watching other language movies...thats the biggest laugh! of course for every JOGI, mungaru male which comes once in a year u have umpteen copies.....autograph, ravishastry, ajay...the list is endlesssssssss. the ratio of copy is to original in kannada movies is sad....except for a girish kasaravalli and the likes everyone depends on remakes ...people like ravichandran who started with new trends in PREMA LOKA ( remake of grease) and RANADHEERA ( remake of old movie HERO) then went ont o do only remakes, making it safe options...even the latest fro sudeep is a remake (don recollec the name of film)...so let the industry roduce some good movies like a MOZHI, paruthiveeran, in succession and then we can admit kannada movies into the ORGINAL CLUB

Should we change the title as Jealous tamilians? as these guys cant digest the fact that kannada films of late has their great "Creative" people coming to Bangalore and watching those movies and taking the rights to remake them in thier language (And of cource they cant do it properly even) Next they dubb all the other langauge movies left right and centre and claim thier brains as original! almost all Vijay, Satyaraj, Surya, Rajanikanth movies are all remakes of one or the other Indian movies and the great Kamalhassan remakes english movies very often with his wierd make ups and these guys make a huge issue of Kannada movies bieng remade! they conveniently forget that there are original movies which are better in every aspect than thier movies. So they use forums like this to mud sling on Kannada movies.... so who is jealous of whom???

Only Rajinikanth doesnt represent Tamil industry, there are good actors like Kamal hasan, Vikram (pitamahan), Surya (Ghazini) etc.

If Tamil industry had good movies like mozhi, paruthiveeran, Kannada industry had excellent movies like Cyanide which was dubbed to Tamil as Kuppi, Care of footpath (directed by a 10 year old boy , Master Kishan which was a guiness record, I guess this movie also has been dubbed into Tamil as Sadhanai), KallaraLi hoovagi last year. This year kannada film industry has already given massive hits like Mungaru maLe(which has smashed all the existing records in kannada film industry and still running to packed houses in around 80 theatres in Karnataka even after 190 days) and Duniya. Remake rights of both of these movies to other languages have been already sold to hefty amounts.
If Kannada film industry has a Ravichandran , Tamil industry has a Vijay who has acted in lot of remake movies like Kadhalukku Mariyadhai, Badri, Aathi, Gilli, Pokiri etc., which shaped up his career. Only difference is Vijay made good choices and Ravichandran made bad choices. That's all the difference.
In other language movies they do dubbing of the hit movies from other language movies where as in kannada they do remakes, atleast they put some effort to bring it to Kannada to suit the taste of local audience rather than just changing the dialogues of the movie from one language to another.
Remakes are there in all the film industries. Every film industry has its ups and downs. Now since kannada movies have picked up so well it is others who are jealous about Kannada film industry.

well don talk bat good movies here.. in south indian only malayalm has produced good movies.. do u know the biggest hits in tamil in recent times are all remake!there also list is endless! by the way kannada films have got ctitcial acclaim and awarsds..other than non sense masala entertainers have u come up with any good movies? only in tamil sivaji can be hit.. come to hyderabd.. all ppl are pissed off with telugu sivaji!
ramesh arvind himself is a FLOP tamil actor . he acted long back in keladi kanmani and other tam movies. graduated to playing second fiddle to kamal hassan in umpteen movies...and turned back to kannada, after no success there....and NOW he takes a safe subject like SATI LEELAVATHY and remakes as rama shyama bhama. he thinks he his some TOM CRUISE - HE? makes only 1 story so far - that of a flirt AND GOD'S gift to women ...satyavan also is similar lines..let him amke an original story and then we can talk

to that extent even rajanikant is a flop kannada actor before migrating to tamail he tried his luck in kannada movies and got only negetive charecter roles. Only tamils can tolerate his monkey act.

ya both rajani and kamal were flop actors in hindi when tried their luck there.. u ppl made them demi god! simran and kushboo were alo flop actress imported from bollywood.. u ppl built temple for them! u don treat trash as tarsh! u worship them!
sad that with one stupid movie like satyavan(copied) and mungaru male, the kannadigas think they have reached hollywood...forget national level, they are the worst in south. its coomon knowledget that kannada movies arent as mass reaching as tamil, not as content born as malayalam, or grand as telugu. the biggest hits are all copies...aptamitra copied from manichitrthazhu adn now satyavan...imagine feeling that the film industyr rocks..sad!!!!!

Mr Z seems to be Pakistani. Interested in creating trouble. If he is Tamil he is jealous of Kannada movies overtaking Tamil movies in quality. Ramesh Arvind is a decent actor definitely better than Rajani. Satyavan Savitri is the next Super Hit movie in Kannada. The super hit list goes on and Mr Z is nervous !

well most of the movies made in india are remake!chnadramukhi the biggest hit in tamil before sivaji was aframe to frame copy from a kannada film.. nad telugu mvies are not as grand as u r trying to project! i have been living in hyd for 3 years! i know how good are the movies here! so donnt talk trash here

Aren't there remakes in other languages. I don't know any languages which have remakes. Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and even Hollywood do remakes. In fact, Hollywood even has an Oscar category dedicated for remade films, "Best Adapted Screenplay", for which "The Departed" won this time.
Remakes are not a bad thing, although the quality of the remake usually turns out to be so. But, Ramesh has made a winner of the movie. The Hindi version was a flop, but Ramesh has adapted it well to the Karnataka culture. It's all about your movie sense.
this movie is acopyy of the salman starret MAIN PYAR KYON KIYA...sad that ramesh had to pass this as hiws own. the presmise of doctor lying to girlfriend, sec being passed of as wife etc are all copied...

man wats wrong with that! even if it s remake oneh as to work hard on script so that it can suit to local's taste!by the way it seems ur not aware of the fact that even before directing this movie ramesh made it clear that its a remake movie!
Doesnt he look smashing??? he is too good...awesome..never seen any man so handsome...he is damn cool...so good looking and fascinating with a charisma..Im clean boweled by his looks!..:)
