Whenver I read headlines that advertise a feud between "Big Bachan" and "SRK" I fall laughing in my seat. I mean its just ridiculous that the media conglomerates are even considering this "fact" to be of importance. Even if a feud did exist between Mr. Bachan and SRK, who cares? I know I don't. Nowadays the Indian media does more yellow journalism than the tabloids that regularly spread gossip about the Hollywood stars in the United States or the British Film Industry. Besides, when it comes to Shahrukh Khan's caliber as an actor, in my honest opinion (and everyone is entitled to their own opinion; there is no such thing as right or wrong)he is very mediocre. The only reason he is appealing to the Indian public is because they have absolutely no taste in movies. They see movies solely based on either their cast list or their songs. That is the root of all problems: there is no distinction between music videos/ musicals and films in India. Sanjay Leela Bhansali started a fine trend by not including any dance sequences in his movie, and it wont critical acclaim from critics alike. I am personally getting sick and tired of seeing the success of movies like Murder and Don solely because of their "star power". Sheesh, it seems that although "Bollywood" makes more films than Hollywood (although 80% are not worth anything) it is and will always be an immature organization. After all, just like other aspects of Indian society it is saturated with the underworld (Dawood Ibrahim) and stars goes to such an extent to "secure" their fame and money that they hire hitmen to kill others (Hrithik Roshan's father was almost killed in an attempted assasination). But aside from the underworld's influence, there is the fact that the industry itself is corrupt. It does not offer good movies to new and upcoming actors and treats the ones "at the top" (there should be no such thing) as if they are the only ones who deserve a good script. No offense, but if the Indians are so desperate to copy their Western counterparts at everything including culture, clothers, food and even the naming of their film industry ("Bollywood", I mean the name itself shows you how "original" the Indian film industry is) then they should learn a thing or two from the West about making movies that are actually good, have a plot and are not just chock full of "A list" stars and lengthy song sequences. But I highly doubt it, as as long as actors are given epithets like "King Khan" and the directors keep recycling the true and tested fomula of copying scripts and plots from popular Western movies with a few songs thrown in for good measure, nothing is going to change, at least not on my horizon. (If you are going to be flame me for my opinion, at least use valid facts and an argument that uses constructive criticism. No foul language please).

At least one man in the industry has stood up and said that he doesn't see any problem whatsoever between Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan.
In Delhi for an event, Subhash Ghai was quizzed on what he thought about the Big B/SRK war. His reply to this was that he didn't quite see any such war building up between the two. He justified his claim by saying that in a private party a few days back, he was seated on a table with both Big B and SRK and he didn't see any bad vibes between the two, let alone any war. They both were chatting away with each other quite comfortably which was quite a good sight in itself.
Wish people from both within and outside the industry, especially the media, take a cue from this and let the two superstars be alone. It would do much good to them and their families and would also save a lot of print/web space for other interesting information.

i agree with u thats true, this is just frustration of people, they r jus against srk.to them, jus watch the show and enjoy it, it doesn't matter who is the host, ethier way both r good, no comparisons plzz, their style is diff. just wacth if don't wanna let others.
