What about Rang De Basanti. It was a better picture than all these unfathomable English movies. RDB was a movie which depicted contemporary Indian youth & survival of the courage & determination surviving from freedom fighting days. Since most of academy members are influential jews, guess any nonsense on world war 2 will win awards. So to put it briefly oscar sucks & stop glorifying it in India

do u seriously think that hindi movies can woo international audiences? this is not to say that many of the hollywood flicks require mention of any sort. if u consider the serious amount of acting talent that we possess, the movies never reflect them. secondly, when there was a case, such as 'black', they chose instead to send devdas which was absolutely ridiculous. RDB was fantastic but i wouldnt say internationally
