its obvious that SRK is trying to dethrone Big B. he did DON, planning to make DEEWAR,, well come on.. SRK has run out of scripts i think.. if he had the capacity to excel as an actor he should do it by originality.. not by imitating an icon.. SRK is asking for comparison when there is no comparison.. in a sense SRK is not an actor at all.. he is just a entertainer..

KBC 3 watchers will agree whole heartedly that Amitabh rocks and Sharukh is a mere pale shadow of the great man. Sharukh is a flop, and according to me this is the beginning of the end of the era called Sharukh enigma. He has willingly accepted his fate and for a whopping 254 crores has signed on to encash his ten years earnings, and thus crashing out altogether from the star status. I say this, because this is what happened to Govinda too. Overall, I think, taking on the show and trying to imitate and even be different from Amitabh, is all showing the shallowness in terms of talent of the Indian celebrity stars, the insecurity in terms of money, significantly bears on any show of self-dignity and pursuing anything material at the detriment of the Indian acting talent.
Shahrukh has very often stated with pride, that he would be willing to dance and do a striptease if he was offered good money for it, so form such a cheapo star, you can only expect a cheapo kind of the KBC show.
I am going to miss Amitabh's robustness, dignity and poise on the KBC show, and for those people who will still watch SRK, all I can say is you will watch a roadshow, from a man who will do a "champi" for a few additional rupees. BY the way ORGANIZERS ALSO HAVE NO MONEY LEFT TO BY GLUE FOR SHAHRUKH'S CHAIR-BECAUSE HE CANNOT STAY STILL.

Mumbai, February 3, 2007 FINALLY, THE eyeball verdict on Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) is out and audiences have given Shah Rukh Khan the thumbs down.
Tam Media data for the first four days of KBC3, which opened on January 22, showed a television viewership rating (TVR) of 12.33. Amitabh Bachchan had a bigger opening on KBC2 on August 5, 2005, with a TVR of 19.75. It gets worse. After the initial curiosity about SRK%u2019s performance, many viewers seem to have tuned out. On January 23, KBC3 notched a TVR of 10.44 and 7.36 the next day. The show recovered to an extent on Janu ary 25, hitting 9.24. Compared to the diminishing numbers for SRK, the Big B%u2019s audience grew with each passing day. KBC1 opened with a TVR of 10.59 on July 3, 2000, rising to 10.79 on July 4, 13.64 on July 5 and 14.32 on July 6. It peaked on October 19, 2000, with a huge TVR of 26.55. Star has a defence. Paritosh Joshi, the network%u2019s president (ad sales and distribution), said the number of persons %u2018reached%u2019 on SRK%u2019s first day was 23 million compared to Bachchan%u2019s 18 million. %u2018Reach%u2019 is defined as all those who saw the show for at least a minute. TVR, on the other hand, incorporates the number of persons who tuned in for the duration. Does that mean less %u2018stickiness%u2019 for SRK? An audience study by Optimum Media Solutions supports the view that people were not sticking with SRK. Only 44 per cent of respondents watched all three episodes of KBC3, 25 per cent watched only the first episode and 30 per cent watched two episodes. SRK YOU ARE NOT FIT FOR KBC.

I was really set aback with the dramatic comedy SRK was trying to put up. He was pathetic and so was the show. With AB you had some dignity and prestige in the show....there was a presence...with SRK it looked like a nukkad based gamble show...Sloppy...SRK will flop this one.
SRK CANNOT ever meet the Personality of Big . AB has mesmerized everyone Old,Young or Children alike his Presentation had lot of Gravity in it which a show like KBC 3 is lacking.
Shahrukh is a star by accident and not for his skills or acting. SRK doesn%u2019t gets into a character but he make all characters like him. Where as AB exudes natural warmth and charisma, SRK has to go hyper to create or fake it. He actually seemed defensive in his aggressive style.Where as AB moved the script,The Script is moving SRK. I shall miss the gentleness of AB. SRK sounds little snobish or sarcastic. Organizers just have to open their eyes. It is easy to hold the magic wand but it is very difficult to churn out magical things.....Shahrukh. While AB was all class and mesmerizing SRK has to go hyper to create or fake it. All this publicity and hype created for you is waste. It was aweful watching KBC after much promotion.

What can someone say when the board is fill will lots of ignorance ppl. There is only one site where lots of idoits and cretin ppl discuss and its not other than Rediff itself. Just feel it ppl whether Sharuk is doing marvellous or worse job. If u can feel and have open minded u will find opposite of ur thinking. Sharuk continues to do wonderful job and will continue to do fantastic job......... Only thing u ppl can do is pray for his failure. Despite of these Sharuk will win again,
I really think SRK has bought in fresh vibes to the show. Amitabh is one of the greatest icon of the present time and the future also. I definately like SRK in this avtar for the simple reason tht he did very well in connecting with the yonger viewers by the rap song and the middle aged viewers by his sweet little effort of hugging and making fun on the show. He has made KBC more like a fun filled family show where the family can sit and have fun. KBC is a big sucess with credit to Amitabh, but old has to go and new have to come for fresh views. Amitabh had become very monotonus and predictible, I myself was like its ok even if i dint see the show for a couple of days. But SRK is good and will get better by the days to come. THE ONLY THING I WOULD LIKE TO TEL THE CRITICS "SHUT UR MOUTHS" Let the champ do his work. I would definately like all the critics to face the camera or direct a film and ask the actors to judge how these senseless creatures on this planet have done. I swear they wont like them selves to be called critics after tht.

I think SRK was good.Amitabh has his own charisma.So does Shah Rukh Khan. Whetehr we say that he was trying hard to do better than Amitabh or whatsoever-SRK has got a style-He was different than Amitabh - when he introduces new words or actions in the show.-Definitely we would not have liked him if he would totally copy Amitabhs words, languages,actions etc.We all like diversity.And I think Shah Rukh did just great.He stood upto the mark.And there is just no comparision between the two - look at their age differences- the experience that Amitabh has is much more than SRK.And experience is the key to success.So we just cant compare - there is no point of comparision.Instead we should sit back on our seats and watch the King do his show.He did hook quite a big audience -Because we have a change in host now the viewers KBC had lost will come back because we do get bored with the same style and acting again and again .So we needed a change .And nobody but SRK was the best fit who could take the place of a popular man like Amitabhji.We need to see that who will take SRKs place when we get bored of him after a few years seeing him on KBC.-I s there any contender you guys can think of who could stand upto Amitabhji and SRK......JUST GIVE IT A THOUGHT
