She did real well as an Indian and maintained the dignity of Indian. I don't understand what she did wrong. Are you saying a Indian women can't break down in tears? Even after those bullying she continued and won but yet we fail to appreciate her courage.

You cry when you have a guilt in you, when you feel ashamed.
Feel proud of your Orign, Race, Colour and your Tradition.
When you want to catch up with the western culture, you'll always end up being a tail to it. So you should'nt have any regrets when they call you a dog. (Even usig such words is a part of their culture)
Atleast if we had love for our tradition and values and lived upto it, rather than going along with the western flow, it would've been contrary to the current scenario. The west would've adopted our way and never we would have abused them for that was never taught to us.
Grow-up my countrymen, be mature, be prudent, be passionate. Dont get carried away with emotions.

Dear Aman, Is she or someone ever confessed that BIG Bro show was all manufactured? Why can't it be real? Following the show,so many big-shots came up with their stories including Kiran desai. They all are proud of our origin, race, colour and tradition. They all agreed RACISM is very much there in United Kingdom. There is nothing nothing wrong, if shilps was crying.Incident was pretty unexpected and anyone can braek in these circumstances. It has nothing to do with our Orign, Race, Colour or Tradition.
Not giving hit movies doesn't make her a bad actress, does it? Although we all agree that she wasn never really a very popular actress. I wasn't a big fan of her before, but after watching big brother, I am now. Some times doing very basic things can take you to great heights. All the house mates in CBB had to chance to make a name for themselves, some did, others blew it. You never know when will oppurtunity come knocking on your doors, so when it does, you should make the most of it. And I am sure this is exactly what Shilpa is doing. I think she has done India proud, and as an Indian I am proud of her.
She proved to the whole world what Indians are capable of by winning the Big Broter prize. Just like Ratan Tata and Mittal are competing in their fields, Shilpa has conquered in her field. lets not crib but support her... Good coverage Rediff
What happens to a Bollywood actress who is past 30 year of age, has more flops under her belt than hits, is taller than most actors who can be paired with her on-screen and is considered too old for the newer set of heroes who have the height to match hers?
Get married to one of the crorepatis and sit back and relax.
Well this may seem to an option to some but not one when you are an energetic smart girl with black belt in some form of martial art and are too hyper to lead a sedate, unexciting though comfortable life.
So you look for more options. You don%u2019t want to do any more endorsements of a saree brand, since the scars of the Praful sarees are still on your mind...................
