I did not watch this movie. But wanted to say something. Almost every sitcom in Hindi or any other regional language has extra marital affairs and concepts which don't make any sense. There are millions of housewives and children who watch those everyday. Many of you commented that such movies can have a "BURA ASAR" on Children and Teenagers. If that's your worry forget it!! There are movies that are rated "Adult" right? DO YOU BELIEVE THAT ONLY ADULTS WATCH THOSE MOVIES? Say, all the movies in India are made keeping our culture in mind. DO YOU THINK INDIAN MOVIES ARE THE ONLY MOVIES YOUNG GENERATION WATCHES? THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER MEANS OF WATCHING MOVIES. This particular movie might or might not be good. I am niether supporting or criticizing anyone here. It is good that India is developing drastically. At the same time there is a drastic gegradation of culture too! I am a mom too! Obviously after hearing so much about this movie I would never think it is a bad movie but I would not watch this movie with my daughter. I think any parent would do the some!!
dunno about critics, but his nishabd distributors wont be very pleased. the respose- to use a bad pun - had been 'silent'...probably the distributors might not, as the movie reportedly has been 'bundled' with the much awaited 'RGV's SHOLAY' due this summer. till then ramu, bach ke tu rehna!
Ramuji has done a good job. Film is done asthetically. But the narration of AB shows that he is trying to justify what had happened. This really deminishes the effect of "nishabd". A girl studying in Australia and a photographer- and they will stop with just having feelings for each other?-not interesting! A well known politician of nagpur married his daughter's friend. Even in our society it's very common that old men develop feeling for young girl and sometimes even marry them ; so what is nishabd about it? Not bold at all but well made.

Hi, I am big fan of Amitabh Bachhan, I have been watching Amitabh from my childhood, my problem and most of People who like somebody they have a image of their hero in their mind. like my my image of Amit ji is that he leader of poor people, i like dialogue his style his dance style. but when i saw him in Nishabd or Boom i don't like him, he broke that image.i ask other people (amitabh's fan) to understand feeling of others. like somebody in this board writes that in the next movie Amitabh will do role of Gay, i seen immidiately people reacted very strongly. i think that some Amitabh's fan who liked his role in "Nishabd" may not like his role of gay. now according to their logik it's not real life it's just reel life they should like this role also. here our Hero's image gives pain to us.take another example I like Sachin Tendulkar very much but if tomorrow he does Ad. of Underwear and Banyan i will not like that, (and doing ad. for is not wrong) but again this act breaks our image of our Hero and that gives pain to us.

Mr Naveen, only nutcase like you could write these comments who is not aware of the diffrence between real life & reel life. If Big B plays a underworld Don ...he is good....he plays a con man that is also accepted by the Junta.....but when he plays a 60 year old lover than there is Huge backlash... i really dont know why.?...Please watch this movie as this is the best role he has ever p;ayed ....he is playing a characted & needs to be appreciated for that ......Most of the people have not seen the movie & still they are writing bad comments....

Baghbaan is great movie. 100% indians appriciated that film. Bagbaan is real story. so that film gives some message to whole family how to leave with our mother & father. Amitabh & hema malini great jodi no- 1. now continue please..Amitabh (hemamalini's husband) fall in love with his daughters friend. how u feel..? BAGHBAAN is great story. NISHABD is bakwas story.
