i have seen this movie about a year or so ago when nandan, the government movie hall in kolkata was showing it. it is a beautiful movie and the subject of violence was dealt with a lot of sensitivity. it is a very well made movie. a must see. we should have more of such sensitive yet entertaining movies.
how some one still can arrive india from LA USA without a cell phone call to the daughter is it bcoz spying? in normal circumtances this is difficult for hazama or the same old drama,when we were short of telephone lines. -Arif

as far as i remember arif, the mother came without informing the daughter cas she wanted to surprise her daughter...there was no conspiracy theory involved in any way!!!

suchismita, i would love to see the film but short of DVD here in Saudi Arabia,Regardind the Telephone call they always say surprise but giver always incounter situations and become receiving party of surprise.
